Insurance And Breakdown Cover

Just thought I'd share this with you all. Recently had my insurance renewal through from Zurich for a frankly unbelievable £780 for my SC430. Did the usual scan through gocompare, and confused, and eventually ended up with a Admiral multicar policy that brought the Lexus down to £284 (with guaranteed protected NCB). At the same time I looked at breakdown cover and my wife found a great offer using Tesco clubcard vouchers that'd given me breakdown cover (including recovery and home assistance) for 4 of us for £80 worth of vouchers. A good morning's work!

You are right with Admiral!

Having just purchased my SC430 in January, I initially contacted Lexus insurance for a quote and free 7 day 'driveaway' insurance. Was a bit concerned over the £1,000 quoted by them.

Contacted my current insurers, Admiral who quoted £466 with breakdown insurance.

Ended up insuring the car with Admiral for under £390 fully comp, as breakdown cover was already provided by Lexus.

Can't be bad for a group 19 car with protected no-claims in N. Ireland!
