Door Pins Is200

I have my Lexus is200 for 2 weeks now and have a click click noise when opening the drivers door. Looking at the door pin it sticks out top and bottom. How big are thay and do they were... ? Or is it in the door part that making the clicking the door pin look big to me...bye the way they are brass in colour......

I have never heard of worn door pins on a Lexus, the noise could be the check strap or equivalent that limits the door opening too far.

It may be worth grabbing an aerosol can of white spray grease and giving the pins and strap a good coating although this should be done during a service it can get missed.

To check the hinge pins for wear try to lift the door up when it is fully open and look for any play or noise when doing so.
