I thought to update this as the problem of numerous aftermarket pads simply not working properly on the LS400 seems to have been solved by buying Ferodo Premium LS 400 pads, 2 of us have tried them and we came to the same conclusion, independent of each other, that we can’t tell the difference between the Ferodo pads & real Lexus pads.
