Towing With A Rx300

Recommended Posts

I have just about finalised a deal on a used Mk 1 SE of whcih about 10% of its use will be to tow a horse trailer. Although I know this is not the best 4x4 for towing it won't be used that much.

Having not had the chance to try its ability before I buy I would appreciate any comments you have.

I have towed successfully with my RX for the two and bit years I have owned it. I tow a largish single axle caravan weighing about 900kg. Turn overdrive off, get to 60, slip on the cruise control and sit back and enjoy your decision to buy a Lexus :D
