Hi Guys, Just joined the Forum,I have just purchased a 10 year old RX300 and have been replacing damaged aerial, next job the CD player ,this will cycle through the six discs in the cassette but will not extract them to play. Anyone any ideas? Hi to Steve who welcomed me to the Forum I did try to send a reply but had'nt a clue how to send it . I'm afraid its an age thing . Regards Brynner

If the CD mechanism can be heard doing the "shuffle" chances are the discs are being loaded into the deck but not being read by the laser, not sure if there are any repairers around, the units are normally Pioneer.

May be worth looking for a working second hand unit and swopping it out.
