Door Mirror Replacement - Glass Or Whole Unit?

Recommended Posts

Son has a 2004 IS200 LE in Granite Sky with colour coded heated door mirrors.

The glass in the nearside mirror has cracked and degraded due to water ingress. Can the glass be replaced or does it have to be a whole unit.

Have seen replacement mirror glass on amazon for around £15 but not sure if this will do the trick.

Any advice most welcome :))

The glass can be replaced on it's own, I have an original glass you could have for £12 posted, but does the LE have the photochromatic as well as the heated mirror, like the is300?

Yep, electrochromatic mirrors on the LE.

I bought a standard mirror (genuine) to replace one of mine and the wiring plugs were a bit different. The power connector was the same so it could be adjusted and folded, but the connector for the heating element wasn't.

Hey new member here, just had my drivers side mirror broken (other driver legged it) & I'm trying to find replacement glass. It's a heated mirror unit, I'll need the cover too. But actually finding a good parts site is proving problematic...
