Tcs Question. Steering Boss Question. Airbag Questions... Please Help

Hi everyone.

I'm wondering the answer to a few questions really.

First and formost I'd like to know how I can turn my TCS off so it stays OFF. It's driving me madd having to switch it off everytime I get in the car lol.

I'd also like to know if anyone has any tips on removing the passenger side airbag? I dont fancy blowing myself up tomorrow lol

Lastly can anyone tell me please if all toyota steering colum splines are the same? IE if I buy a steering boss from a supra/celica/mr2/etc will it fit my IS200

Can nobody help here? I can work out the airbag easily enough but the tcs is driving me mad :(

For removing the passenger airbag, disconnect the Battery and wear a good pair of leather gloves and a motorcycle helmet. It'll save your ears and face if it does pop.

Traction control I'm not sure about but it's only two wires in the switch, terminals 4 and 5, the other two are to light the switch. Try pulling the plug and closing the circuit with a paper clip. Might work, if it does then get it wired to a toggle switch so it will stay off for good.

Steering wheel in a Supra is the same in a Lexus IS200 and I know people in MR2's and Celica's have swapped wheels so I'd figure they're pretty all the same fitment.

Hi about the TRC. Thats just down to the switch, because its not toggle. Im guessing you could even use heated seat switch with TRC loom? as its push in push out.... im not going to test this for you tho ;) lol
