New Shocks

Can someone recommend a decent pair of shock absorbers for my IS250. There does not appear to be a great deal of choice.

Also i have a spongy brake pedal. I have had pads put on recently plus i asked for the brakes to be bled but still too spongy. Any ideas?

Shock absorbers are shocking price for the MK2 IS and practically impossible to get on the aftermarket - you options are buy the originals from lexus, but euro car parts sell them and they work out at £150 each with discount. What kind of miles have you done? Surely shocks should be pretty long lasting on these?

The car has only done 51k. There are lots of speed bumps in London, starting with the one outside my driveway !

How many do you need? They leaking badly?

I need two front shocks. The nearside one is weeping.

Try Koni shocks. I bought to my 220d rear shocks from www.larkspeed.com, UK dealer. I guess they are only brand making shocks for Lexus..? Original shocks to my Lexus would have cost 400€/piece, but i managed to get Koni from Larkspeed 160€/piece. :)
