Headlights

I'm fitting some angel eyes next weekend in my 200 and can't decide wot colour to paint the chrome bit ,do I go Matt black or a grey like the face lift lights?

Wot do you suggest

I would go black, the grey would just look like undercoat. The facelift ones are dark chrome not grey surely???

They look Like a Matt version of the 1c6 paint code lookin at the pics I've seen

i would do black background.. but then again what colour is your car ?

i have seen some with grey backgrounds & couldn't tell the difference much what background it was

you could do either both will look good. black would blend well if you got a black front grill..

The mesh is black so I think I I will just do them black as my intention is to paint the car white next year, so I think I will go satin black on the lights thanx guys

Anychance you could post some pics of that after painted as im intrested in doing same but sceptical on how it will look and the quality of the paint id of thought it would go flaky and crack with heat of bulbs so close please let me know ty.
