Rx 400H Roof Rails

I have a 2008 400h with ? Factory fitted roof rails. ( not the roof racks). The rear portion of the plastic covering the passenger side rail snapped off in a car wash.

I have asked the dealer for a quote , but the new part will probably include a whole new rail.

I am planning to replace the car within a few months and not keen to purchase a whole rail.

Anyone know of a second hand one for sale. ( or even just the plastic cover)

I see someone sold one here in 2012. I have enclosed images of the missing section.

The plastic cover is available separately, any Toyota or Lexus dealer can get one

see attached from toyodiy, your colour code may be different so check first

Hi all

Just had my car hand washed and the guys broke off my cover! They have said they will pay for a new one, just as a guide has anyone bought one recently from a Lexus dealer? If so how much?

I'm hoping I won't have any hassle getting the car wash to pay…...

Accidents happen I know but it's still a major pain.
