Have a problem with my 1997 LS 400 NSF door not opening off key fob.

Lexus dealer diagnosed that a new door lock, switch & computer required.

Cost - £528 :o

Needless to say I am using my key when I have a passenger!

Checked with local Auto electrical garage: to examine door £40. They state that might be wiring problem or replacement motor quoted as approximately £200.

Am confused and would appreciate any assistance please.

I'm here! :)

The normal cause is failure of the motor within the lock accuator and strangely enough seems to affect the front passenger door the most.

I am presently breaking a 1997 LS400 so if you are interested in a cheap working unit please PM me.
