Heated Windscreen Wipers

Hi all, just found out the windscreen wiper heaters on my 2009 IS 220D don't work. Whats wrong and is there anything I can do to get them going again. Cheers.

This is just a shot in the dark and is the first thought that came to mind when I read your post. Has the windscreen ever been replaced and if so was it the correct type? I believe that I have read on here that you can actually see the heater wires at the bottom of the screen if you look carefully. I've just had a look at my screen and I think that I can see the wires OK.

If you can see the wires on yours then it would seem to be an electrical fault such as switch or fuse so I can't be much help there I'm afraid.

Hope this doesn't seem to be a stupid reply to your query, it just seemed like a possibility to me.
