Inspection Done On My Car Today

Recommended Posts

Well,my mate who is an MOT tester did a bit of an inspection on my car today, looks good underneath.

All wheel bearings were fine and bottom ball joints seemed good.He did find though that the drivers front caliper is stuck on causing the pads to wear down more than the other side, disc is worn bad aswell due to the excess heat.Got to try and release the caliper now,if not then a new caliper it will have to be.

New front discs and pads now also required.

Thanks.Lee.

Try soakin the caliper in oil mate for a couple of days ,sometimes works .

Will try some releasing oil first, see how we get on with it,I will keep that in mind though.

Thanks again.

Lee.

If you need a new caliper there is a seller on eBay who sells reconditioned ones for about £100. You send your old one back for £30 cash back. I've used them before and can recommend the seller.
