Iphone 5S Questions

Hi,

this morning I paired my Iphone 5s to my Rx400.

As I understand it from reading this forum there are no options to upload my contacts from the Iphone.

But is there any way to manually add phone contacts?

Are there any workarounds?

As I've never used Bluetooth before in a car, how does it work? Is it totally hands free ie if someone phones me is the call automatically accepted and comes through on my speakers?

Apologies if I'm covering old ground but I couldn't find any answers.

You can manually enter contacts while in the phone menu.

When I receive calls it displays the caller id if registered and I can accept or reject the call. May be a setting an auto pick up is possible but I don't like the idea of it so not looked in to it.

You can use siri to voice call people using your phone and it will automatically connect to the car so no real need to enter contacts unless you really want to.

Siri isn't a bad idea(as long as its improved since the iphon4 which was awful) though you do have to activate it on your phone first - thanks for the tips :)

Yeah it's not ideal.

Said it before. The poor Iphone integration is my biggest issue with my lexus so far.
