Headlight Washer Not Working

Hi all I'm new here, just purchased myself an 06 plate IS220, noticed yesterday that my headlight washers aren't working. With the lights on if I push the button to activate them you can hear the pump buzz but nothing happens. They will pull up quite easily but I even had a friend hold them up while I pushed the button and they didn't spray, is it something relatively simple which activates them? I'm a mechanic by trade (but on buses) so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty!

If the level of washer fluid is below a certain level then the windshield washers get priority. I read this somewhere in the owners manual.

I tried this the other day, filled the washer fluid to the brim and it still didn't work 😞

assuming water isn't pouring out somewhere I can only assume the pipework is blocked or kinked.

Yeah that was my thought, but they don't even pop up, is that electrically controlled or done by water pressure? If I was to jack up the car and take the undertray off can you see anything, or does the bumper have to be removed?

I think it is water pressure alone, it certainly is on the older IS200/300s.
