Been nearly a year now since some scumbag kicked my front wing in.

Despite setting an eBay alert, nothing has emerged, I just seem to get loads of mails offering wing mirrors, and the odd older wing.

I need a drivers side front wing for my 99{T) LS, preferably in blue, so I can just bolt it on.

If anybody has one for sale, or knows of one, please give me a shout.

Pic attached to show colour.

Thanks.

I would suggest trying a number of breakers yard websites - they'll ask for the Year, Model and Chassis Number and should be able to come up with a used part and if you're lucky it might even be in the same colour as your wing

I have successfully used sites such as :

www.247spares.co.uk

www.findapart.co.uk

www.breakersyard.com

There are a lot of other sites if you use Google but I'm sure you can find a good used wing out there.

Good luck

Thanks Nach, you're probably right, but I thought it would be easier to be honest.

It might be my aged memory playing tricks, but I seem to recall seeing plenty for sale............right up until I actually needed one, of course.

Somebody was selling a silver one for 20 quid about 8 months ago, in retrospect I should have got that one as a fallback.

There are a number of breakers yards now who increasingly are buying perfectly functioning cars, breaking them and selling off parts - I used to think they only broke up cars which owners and insurers couldn't repair or which were not worth saving.

Bit sad that perfectly good cars get broken up that way, but I guess if you can make money doing it then someone will

I'm sure you won't have any problems finding a decent used wing - if you can get 1 in your colour, hopefully all it will need is a good MOP / Polish and it'll be as good as new and save you the repainting cost

Good luck
