Dear all

Guess what?....That problem i had with my drivers seat twisting on recline, well i've only gone and sorted it.

After a Lexus main dealer telling me that my seat was unrepairable, and then cracking a joke! by telling me the good news ,that a new one was £3000 ish, I thought ,sod it ,time to have a go.....

Firstly ,i have to say that this does seem to be quite a common problem on the LS400, and although i did receive a few suggestions from the owners forum, nothing really helped.

Even the blow up drawings of an LS400 seat from the lexus main dealer computer turned out to be incorrect!.

I have taken some digital pictures of the damaged area of the seat ,and intend to draw up some kind of picture repair guide, showing all the internals of the seat etc for anyone out there ,who is suffering from the same fault. I seem to remember way back in February when i posted a request for help, there were a few members who had this problem.

The only thing that may give me grief, is getting it on to the site, but if i can't , members can get hold of me via my e-mail address if required

Cheers Stew :winky:
