Ls400 Internal Door Trim

Having just acquired a '90 LS400 I need to attend to a couple of problems to make it

"perfect"

One that is causing some thought as to how to rectify a problem with the inner trim of the

rear doors. The facing material has "delaminated" from the backing at the top of the door

card (where it turns to meet the chrome strip at the bottom of the window glass). The

previous owner has obviously tried to glue this back but it was not successful. I'm not sure

what type of glue was tried, but it would need to be pretty good!

I can't believe that his problem is unique to my vehicle, and not wanting to "re-invent the

wheel", has anyone come across, and more interestingly, solved this problem.

Any thoughts would be welcome.
