  2. Amazing condition for nigh on 900,000 miles. I also wondered if the driver's seat is original. Could be though, the colour of the leather matches exactly. What an incredible example of Lexus engineering.

  3. It also has the very rare 4WD option. I cannot believe those front seats are the originals .

  4. I know I've said it before, but we only read about the "issues" with the LS430, hardly ever do we read about their good points. Get an LS430 with good history, and one that feels right when you view and test it, and you could have a great car that is ridiculously good value for little money. Not everyone will have transmission and suspension issues. Try one out, you'll be smitten! I took mine from Sussex to Heathrow this week to pick a friend up, even that was a pleasure on the M25 because the cabin is such a nice place to be. And they're cheaper to insure than the 400. My insurance company said it's because they're a safer car!

  5. I'll keep it until something better comes along. Even if the RC-F is great, I'll still want to wait a year or so until the ex-demo prices come down. So it wouldn't surprise me if I still had it for a 5th anniversary. I also really should keep it until it becomes the car I've owned the longest. Currently that honour is held by a 1992 Metro 1.1 at 4 years, 3 months. I'd hate to get to petrolhead heaven and discover they issue you with the car you had for longest while alive and then spend eternity pootling around in a white ex-British School of Motoring snotbox.

  9. We are getting lazy - in every aspect of life. Just thought sitting in your car, with ignition off & lights on would not have helped the subsequent economy. If battery is low, engine runs longer = more fuel used. For me the setting should be:- OFF = Lights off with ignition 5 secs = 5 second delay after door open. 10 secs = 10 second delay after door open. and so on. Our cars are great, so we do tend to nit pick. lol.
