  1. IS300H 'Escargot' - why the title? - went out in the car to work yesterday morning - 3/4 miles of suburban traffic before getting on M25. After first 5 minutes of use I noticed a smell inside the car of what seemed to be burning paper or cardboard - wasn't too sure if it was from inside or outside the car (from one of those industrial pollutant clouds driftiing over from Europe), so opened drivers window and ignored it. Didn't notice it the rest of the day - nor today. Came back from an 80 miles round trip, parked the IS in the drive, walked around the front end and heard an odd crackling sound. Opened the bonnet and there were scores of 'cooked' snail shells on the tops of the suspension turrets and some discoloured marks where there must have been a good may more on the exhaust heat sheild. How weird - must remember tonight to put some garlic in the engine compartment and have a French gastronomic experience day tomorrow!

  3. I prefer Citalopram ??. Won't last as long in the system due to short half life. 36 hours only in citalopram, fluoxetine is 4-5 days. Citalopram has faster onset though

  4. To hammer the point made by Rayaan: never ever have different tyres on the same axle. Your rear tyres may be different to your front ones, but tyres on the same axle must be the same. Tyres have different thread, different ratings in the dry/wet/snow etc... in a slippery situation such as greasy road, wet weather, snow, etc, you really do want both front wheels to react in the same manner. This would need to be verified, but if you were to have an accident and an insurance assessor was to notice you have different front tyres, you may give them an excuse for not paying out.

  5. Not good news especially if your username gives a clue to your location with the Burneston Toyota plant just the other side of the A50. It may be worth contacting Lexus assist to see if they can get one sooner for you.
