  1. Like how when you leave your pointer over text, it gradually turns green:cool:
  2. Yep. I cant decide which day to go on though:?: It is only about 15 miles away from my house - I didn't realise there was a show as close to me as this You always miss what is right under you nose:D
  3. Is anyone going to the JAPS show at Thoresby Hall, Notts on 22nd and 23rd of June?:eyes:
  4. that is a pretty damm handy addition Steve:yes: Like the new emotions too:?::bounce::regan::smilegrin::flaming::eyes:
  5. everything works fine for me Steve:yes:
  6. I was travelling with a friend yesterday in his BMW 330 when I heard a beeping noise from his dashboard. He told me he had just bought a Snooper SD815is radar detector, and it had detected a speed trap, hence the beeping. I have always been a bit suspicious of the claims that manufacturers make on such items, this is because I owned a radar detector in 1997 and the only thing it could detect was traffic light cameras! Anyway, I was curious as to where this speed trap was, and I was totally amazed when we eventually came to 2 coppers hiding behind an unmarked transit van 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD!:o:o:oI could not believe how this little gadget had picked up the speed trap from so far away. It also picks GATSO cameras up from about 100 yards. It has convinced me that these are a worthwhile purchase as I already have 3 points for speeding (any more and I can expect a 50% rise in my insurance premium:mad:) The cheapest I have seen on for is £199 including p+p from www.mcs-direct.co.uk which is a massive £100 off the RRP. I am ceratinly going to invest in one of these brilliant gadgets. I dont think £199 to save your license is bad. Have any of you guys got any opinions on them?? I would be interested to hear your views. ps I know it probably sounds like I work for snooper after heaping so much praise on the thing, but I dont and it really is that good :smilegrin::smilegrin:
  7. That is absolutely fantastic! It took me about 5 minutes to stop laughing:smilegrin::tumble::smilegrin:
  8. There are some very nice motors there Leexus. Like the ICE install in 5214 I cannot beleive the size of that sub in 5245!!!
  9. Not to keen on any of those Leexus :P
  10. I think you ought to replace your suspension with a new IS steve! Go on you know you are tempted:smilegrin:
  11. Have you seen the bit about 1 min 15 secs in, where the tyre catches the wheelarch? My mum said "that will do his tyres no good" Presumably the sideways drifting at 80mph will do no harm at all then:rolleyes::smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin:
  12. I know where the tail lamp covers are available from http://www.upauto.co.uk/is200bs.htm they are £45 +VAT which I think is quite a good price. UPAuto are based in Nottingham Dont know about the carbon look though. I would think that these come in primer ready for painting. You can get carbon fibre in adhesive backed sheets though, so it wouldn't be too hard to do. My personal opinion is that the rear lights are one of the best features of the IS so I cant understand why anyone would want to cover them up, but that is just my opinion By the way, I went with someone to a BMW dealer the other day and saw one of those ugly 3 series compact things. How much have BMW ripped off the IS lights on that car! They should get the arse sued of them:yes:
  13. I think Vic ought to try it first:smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin:
  14. I say white definately. Think of all the cars that are yellow - taxis, noddy's car and the fools and horses van :smilegrin:
  15. Sorry for being a dunce Mat, but are all 3 cats separate? Will I need 3 de-cat pipes to get rid of them? I know of a place in Derby where I work who advertise making custom stainless systems on the radio, so I could get them made there. What sort of power gains would there be?
  16. Very good Steve!:smilegrin: That paperclip ****** me off too! Why do Microsoft think that things like the paperclip and that stupid star will ever help? All they do is infuriate people:mad:
  17. Forgive me guys if this is a stupid question, but can a de-cat pipe be fitted to the IS200? If so what sort of gain could I expect and where could I get one from in the UK? I am asking coz when I get my IS, I am fitting a performance backbox (probably Mats HKS if he still wants to sell it:smilegrin:) and being as I am going to be paying on my insurance under the title of "performance exhaust" I may as well do everything I can to the exhaust system as it wont cost me any more than if I just replaced the backbox. Cheers guys:smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin:
  18. Just try to think about calming things Steve - waterfalls, sunsets, beaches and of course LEXUSES:smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin:
  19. It will make a big difference on hills as well. The car will lose speed very quickly when going up hills with a lightened flywheel. Well the Altezza did in Grand Turisimo 2 anyway!
  20. back on at last Steve! Not found any bugs yet
  21. I think Mat ought to forget about the yellow beast and get a Toyota crown with comfort swing roof for his next motor:smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin: [Edited on 27-4-2002 by andyhart21]
  22. 1.) Wearing your baseball cap back to front 2.) Having the worlds loudest exhaust 3.) Sticking a "GTE" or "GSI" badge on a bog standard model Well it seems to work for Nova drivers?!!
  23. Definately. Gold suits any dark coloured car especially blue or black. You just need a gold tooth to finish it off
  24. LOL Rob:smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin: This gives you a perfect oportunity to get snazzy gold badges Shrek
