  1. I got one too when I picked mine up last week Sammy, and very nice they are too:cool: Also got a nice Lexus golf umbrella. Do you think it will still work coz i dont play golf?!
  2. Got mine too Steve. Very classy:cool:
  3. Why dont you make the trip in the 106? I'm sure it will be a much nicer ride;) The miles will just fly by
  4. Looks nice in Black Chris. That was my second choice colour - problem is keeping a black car clean:( If the car is an 02/02, then why does it only come with a one year warranty? Surely it would have the remainder of the 3 year warranty?
  5. Doh! Bad luck mate I have done nearly 500 miles already Cost me £70 of Shell optimax
  6. Bet he was already green with envy
  7. Gold star for Mark for being a smart a*se:lol:
  8. Je*us chr*st! dont let her hear you say that! She weighs about 8 1/2 stone, and I am about 18 stone (not the same build as fat popstar Rik)
  9. Come to JAE Jimbo - you can hear Steve sing in a drum n bass stylee:lol: Maybe you can make him famous:cool:
  10. I let the girlfriend have a drive in the Lexus for the first time tonight, and I have to admit that I was bricking it! She passed the test with flying colours. Only one attempt to put make up on and do her hair in the whole journey! Only kidding - she loved it and she says she would like one too:o:o:o Dont think I can quite stretch to that! It made her laugh that I designated a 1/2 metre "exclusion zone" from my car to the kerb - well I cant have my wheels kerbed in the first week can I?
  11. First job I did when I got the car home Steve - ripped dealer sticker out of rear window, ripped "made in Japan" sticker out of front window and replaced them with quality items from the "teamlexus collection"
  12. It was the first thing I did when I got the car home claire! teamlexus.co.uk in back window, fast and luxurious in rear quarterlight, and green round 'un in the top right of the windscreen Getting a bit pis*ed off keeping the revs below 4000 (I sneaked 6000 once to see if i could feel the VVTI kick in but no joy:( ) Sticher - I agree on the sideskirts, why do they not fit them as part of the kit??? It finishes the car off nicely. I had another look on the wheels and I cannot find anything amiss. I will check the spare tomorrow and let you know. My fu*king Cusco strut brace still has not arrived from Japan yet:mad::flaming: Have you decided which one to get yet Zee?
  13. Doh! I was looking forward to getting one as well:mad: When is HKS going to get its finger out its a*se and make a filter for the IS200?
  14. Hi guys - got the IS monday morning and I am chuffed to bits with it, definately worth the 8 week wait. Here are my initial thoughts: Dealer Service - Lexus Sheffield were excellent all round. I got the GAP thrown in for £250, nice box of chocs and a golf umbrella:) Styling kit - Looks very well fitted and sideskirts just look like they were fitted at factory. Sticher complained about the finish on his alloys being ******* - mine are absolutely spot on Driving - An absolute dream to drive (if a little bit slow). Sounds quite sporty already but still cant wait for HKS muffler! Handles very well, but hopefully even better when I fit my new strut brace. Only one slight fault with driving experience so far: Seems a little sluggish accelerating. I would have thought a 2 litre car would have accelerated up a slight incline in 4th @ 40mph, without having to change in to 3rd. I think I will put this down to it not being run in yet. On the whole I am very, very impressed :D:tumble::D I have had a few kids pointing at it so far which is quite cool:cool: ps, I have only washed it twice:lol:
  15. Light covers are also available at: http://www.upauto.co.uk/is200bs.htm for £45+VAT
  16. I agree Mat. It would be a fantastic oportunity and i cannot understand why more people aren't interested:?: I am definately still up for it
  17. Here Here guys. I think the cops must have come coz the next morning there was no trace of either car and no mess on the road
  18. I was coming back for a very muddy ozzfest last night at about 1.30am when a car coming the other way, sweved across the road right in front of me and into a parked car. I estimate he was travelling at about 45-50mph in a 30mph limit. We stopped and ran to see if he was alright, and it was obvious when I has spoken to him that he was very drunk. He had definately written both cars off (the parked car was knocked completely onto the pavement, over a kerb) and smashed his chin on the steering wheel. If we had of been 3 seconds sooner he would have wiped us out from the side as well :flaming: Just a reminder guys that is is not worth drinking and driving.
  19. Thats bad:o Is there nothing he can do?
  20. Number three looks wicked Zee. It would really suit the IS:yes:
  21. Sorry UV my PC monged out on me Does this mean I have to give the award back?:(:(:(:(
  22. I would just like to say 'sniff' that i am honoured to receive the number 10 geezer award I accept this award on behalf of all the lexus owners that could not be here tonight - *** bless you all I would like to thank my mum, dad and of course Steve, the biggest single influence on my life to date :D That was my best Gwyneth Paltrow impression guys. What did you think?
