  1. I say we do im. I might get another 12% pay rise after it all settles (New Lex, New Lex):P
  2. :(See you out there. Will be able to spend all the accumulated LSSA tarting up the motor when I get back! If he gases us we might come back looking like this:eyes:
  3. Just got a new quote from Esure. 382 quid with PNCD for me and the good lady. She has had one claim in the last 3 years too. Seems good to me. Anyone else insured with them?
  4. I am with DL too. Quote for me and her indoors (30 and 29 respectively) was 530 notes for an IS200 Sport (standard). By the way I have full NCD. Hearing these stories of 12K repairs instead of Write Off is seriously going to make me reconsider. Esure/Bell Direct/Admiral were all close to DL quote. Anyone experienced their claims/repair service?
  5. :DGot my 10000 mile service done at a dealer in Germany. It came in at Euro 115 (thats about 70 quid). Service included all the usuals expected, but not always delivered, from any Lexus dealer.:D
  6. :lol:I find that turning the stereo up helps eliminate the rattles.
  7. Wouldn't want to try and get that on and off the ferry!
  8. I am lucky enough to have owned a 2001 model and a 2002 model. The 2001 model double locked automatically on 1 press of the wireless remote system. The 2nd press de-activated the interior motion sensors. In order to double lock the 2002 model it is necessary to press the lock button twice. To de-activate the interior motion sensors you have to follow a fandango sequence using the lock button on the inside of the drivers door. In both cases the procedure was documented in the owners manual. Am I the only saddo who actually reads the manual? Anyway, the 2001 models system seemed much better and less hassle. Another change for the worse on the 2002 model (in addition to the loss of the lovely twin-tone colouring on the dashboard).
  9. 2 sets of IS200 Continental Headlights, still boxed, as new. Worth more than a packet of fags and a half eaten choccy bar. If you need a set, make a sensible offer.
  10. Got a straight swap, 1 year old one for a brand new one. Nice of Lexus GB to loan me a car for a year don't you think?
  11. Just traded my 2001 Sport in for 2002 Sport. Preferred 2001 model. New dash materials look pants, black/gold was much better. Piping on seats is shee ite too. Brakes do seem a little sharper though.
