Sounds good mike - I got mine from ultraleds.co.uk. The festoon only has 4 so even though its a 'superior' type, a 9led one has gotta be much better. I'm also holding of on the guys I spoke to's advice on the stop/tail and f/r indicators. He's having the 581 and large wedge types redone with more leds. What u reckon are the best to go for for those purposes ? I see u did your door markers mike - I wanted to do that since seeing it on the lextasy site. Although I've just put in red leds to make it more intense under a red lense cos I also thought/was told that they have to be red by law.

Hi, I know this thread hasn't been posted on for a few months but assume that guys still read them etc - I know I do, - so much info to read about on here :) I recently returned from the video store to find 2 small handprints on my bonnet and a dent 2/3 the way up the driver's side right on the damn crease ! They obviously pushed it down little s***s. I have gotten qoutes from various places, garages/chipsaway - most ridiculous, but I have dentwizard coming round on Monday to check it out. I did so on advice here, and judging from examples of repairs on creases on their website, hopefully they can do it :) Will update you. :)

ok I changed the interior lights. Directly swapped the BA9 for a 6led white and the festoon with a 269 4led white bulb. I like the light but I would like it brighter to be honest. I can't see a BA9 with more leds than 6, and there are better festoon leds which are brighter with more leds but the 269 is a 31-35mm bulb while the other three types are 36mm+ which I don't think will squeeze in the slot. - Anyone use the bigger ones with success ? I can live with the BA9, especially if I can fit a better festoon bulb as this would compensate. Also, anyone got any suggestions for what to get and how to fit something like led rails under the dash in the footwells to illuminate them ? Thanks a lot for any advice :)

Afternoon all. I saw this on e-bay and as I have virtually no in-depth knowledge of engine modifications, I would like to know if anyone has tried these and if they are wort getting. - Any damge caused ? - If u remove the thing after trying it will it leave your engine management out of whack ? Agreed. Intereting to read what Rich Tea has to say. When it come to the IS250, I like the fron end a lot but I prefer the back end of the 200. I reckon I'll just upgrade to a really late 300 when the time comes. I really wanted a 300 but the budget couldn't stretch. Most of all I wanted that extra 47bhp ! Still, love the sound of the 200 engine :)

Looks just like the one on my IS200 Sport..make me an offer when I get my sports grill :) Thanks for the opinions guys...As someone who tends to prefer the more unmodified look, I try to keep things tasteful, but still like personalising my car somewhat. :) Thing is - I'd like to do some minor mods like a subtle bodykit etc, but unfortunately I'm not the only one who drives the car so have to strike a balance.

I know this thread is old, and I'm still reading some of the older posts - I like to have a good look for something b4 I ask about it to avoid people getting bored repaeting themselves - even though it ussually has been covered already somewhere lol. With Regard to these chrome rings. - I saw a pic and wanted them straight away, - I think it continues the silver theme around the rear light clusters. I checked the website you posted and saw those rings under the is300 sportcross. - Will they still fit ? If anyone has a pair of these to sell for less than $72 I'd be very interested. Also, while in the same area, the same goes for the chrome trunk bar. - It's for a 300 - will it deffo fit a 200 ? Thanks, and I hope this gets seen, if not will repost hehe. P.S. Me too pm me first come first served £120 for gas struts is very steep, you can get universal ones from somewhere im sure you could make them fit Thanks guys. Damn wish I had seen the offers befor I got a replacement, - £10.80 + Vat - shocking, considering the at other end of the strut is an even smaller bit that it pivots on - that's ony 2.06 + VAT. I wonder who actually sits down and dreams up prices for these simple unadvertised parts ?

Trying to find one for a good price like those that Mr Singh got for the GB which I missed by a couple months :( Still trying to get a clear answer from the dealer about how much they want for the whole kit. Sorry I think it was from 2004 53's. ahh I see, would explain the descrepancy between the spec sheet....

Hello again all ! I saw this on E-bay. Unlike many people, (don't flame me please hehe) I dont really like the sports/mesh grille look that many opt for. I like a bit of tasteful chrome detailing. I had it in different forms on previous cars, but the IS has none ! Looks pretty good to me from the pics. For those who like the original look, would u put these on ? I have them also. Though they are in the boot of the car :duh: Should be going on tomorrow along with the Mintex Disc. Pads on ebay - HERE - £25 Discs and pads - Here - £105 I bought my pads from these guys, delivery the next day. Cool, cheers guys ;)

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has ever gone further than replaceing the binnacle and key ring lights for blue LEDs, i.e. all the centre dash/console lights that are standard orange ? If so I'd love to see what it looks like ;)

Yeah after a while you can get bacteria build up which causes the smell. You can actually get E-coli growing in your aircon system, which aint good for your health lol. When I got the smell in my Peugeot 406 I got a special can of stuff from Halfords I believe. It was recommended in Auto Express Magazine. It specifically kills the bugs. you open the can and leave it in the car with the windows up etc with the aircon on full blast. It fills the car with this smoke/mist. After the process is done, there's no residues or anything left, the smell was gone and hasn't returned. I just can't remmeber the name of what I used sorry - hope that helps ;)

Yeah, I remember seeing something about it on the LOC a while back but can't for the life of me find the thread. When I put in various searces I get no results :( I know it will be expensive but I'm kinda prepared for that hehe.

When I first read abuot the new IS range I also saw something about a 4.6 or 5.0 IS in the pipeline. Can't wait to see what it comes out like. - Would be awesome, - but sadly outta my price range lol

Hello all ! Just wondering...I wanna change my interior bulbs for brighter white LED's. I've figured out what I need for the centre dome light, but am unsure about the personal light by the rearview mirror. It doesnt cover these in the manual. Also I can see how to remove the casings and fit the bulbs but on the interior light there doesnt appear to be a way to get at the inside of the unit to fit the bulb witout causing damage. Has anyone encountered and overcome this ? I would very much appreciate it if u could tell me too ! :) Does it come out looking good? Thanks.

Hi all ! Getting info on this thing is hard and fragmented. I have seen examples of it in photos, and the spec sheet on the LOC indicates it to be standard on the SE Auto - yet mine never had one fitted. As I only drive automatics I'm well used to one and miss it lol. I have heard that it comes in several seperate pieces to order, yet in the photos I saw it appeared a single unit or a maximum of 2 pieces. Thus getting a price is hard also. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Hi guys. You've probably been asked this b4 (sorry) hehehe, but I'm close to needing new pads. I have the standard discs fitted. Should I just stick with regular OEM's or are there anyones that offer better performance without and niggles and costing a gold plated bomb ? Thanks for any advice :)
