  1. Certainly does, presume the stealers is the only place i can purchase a set. Ouch! Or if anyone knows of a sport in a breakers yard...............
  2. Can anyone tell me if the drilled alloy pedals you get standard in the is200 sport can be fitted as a direct replacement for the standard ones? If so is it an easy job to change them over and where can they be purchased?
  3. LE is Limited Edition same as SE spec but full leather, multispoke alloys, HID headlamps and brushed alloy electric window switch surrounds. That's all the differencies I know of but only had the car a couple of weeks so someone may know of some others. Well chuffed with the car so far, but havn't really travelled any long distancies yet. Thanks for the welcome :)
  4. Hi all, I've just purchased a TRD styling kit on 'tinternet and now I'm saving up the pennies to have it sprayed and fitted. My question is will this have any affect on the car warranty (3 year / 60000mile) or paint warranty(7 year i think) if I have it sprayed and fitted at my local spray shop? I'm pretty sure my local Lexusdealer will chare me an arm n leg to have the work done or they might not even consider it if the kit wasn't purchased through them. Any help or advise please........ :winky: P.S. I have searched the site for threads but not much luck, sorry if it's been discussed before.
  5. Gave mine a good clean last weekend with no problems.......... First tape up any exposed areas / wires including the different sensors which connect to the engine. There's a large connection block at the lefthand side of the bulkhead next to the power steering top up, tape that up also. Then spray gunk over just about everything but just do about a 3rd of the engine bay at a time. Leave for few moments, then either adgetate with a brush or wipe with a cloth. Instead of power wash or steamjet, just lightly rinse with cold clean water from a hose pipe. Making sure you do not directly spray anything electrical. Then wipe dry with a cloth. A bit time consuming (2 hours approx) but the results are great.
  6. Hi to all, just thought 'd introduce myself to all you passionate LOC members. My name is Paul from Yorkshire and I've just sold an Alfa 156 to become a proud owner of an IS200 Limited Edition in black, which I'm really chuffed with. Spent the last few days washing, polishing, waxing, cleaning the interior and engine and she now looks mint. Looking at adding a few extras to the car like styling kit and 18" alloys, in fact I've just ordered a rear spoiler for starters from Chris @ Lexus Hanley, top fella!! Can't wait to start adding other bits and bobs and give the car those personal touches the make it stand-out from the crowd. Would appreciate members sending me details of good web sites selling Lexus mods / styling as I'm struggling to find many good ones with the exception of Prolex and Lextacy. Many thanks and looking forward to many posts in the forums. Paul.
