  1. I think I read somewhere that around 300-320bhp was there max. could be wrong though
  2. Looking good. Am interested in the clutch/flywheel info too. Want a lightweight flywheel and might as well do it all. Should run really well when all mapped up. Best of luck
  3. My altezza does the same thing. I have it narrowed down to the aircon pulley. Once its warm its fine
  4. Would have to say white. After that anyone will do.
  5. I've used takakaira loads. Delivery is very good and the shipping is usually aroung €50 for the smallest items so thats about 35pounds. Very good site
  6. Was very dissapointed with it. Nearly fell asleep half way trough. Enjoyed the film NEXT though.
  7. I always use autoglym wash solution and the super resin polish. Good stuff
  8. 41 offset. The rear tyres are the stretched look jap thing and the rim is level with the body but never had rubbing
  9. I didn't think K&N did a kit for the altezza
  10. I have 18*8 on the front with no problem so dont see why not
  11. There is the Legana which are hard to find. Also came across a pic of the Top Secret altezza with a lovely bumper but I'd say getting it would be hard. There is also the HKS one which is nice.
  12. Lots of braces as Jammy said. The altezza does flex alot so these are needed. The rear subframe mounts are very flexible too so maybe new bushings there too. Prob a better diff as the standard one is apparently not good drifting after a while. And of course more POWER. As always shed some weight from car
  13. You would think that it is kind of expensive alright but when you take it out of the box and look at it and see the quality of it.It also looks huge when you hold it and see the resonator box aswell you begin to see why its expensive. Its HKS too so that would give it an extra reason to be more expensive than others.
  14. Sorry for not getting back quicker. Broadband has been down so my access was restricted. @gerbo- On the website its called the muffler. Its bolted on from just by the back wheels. @dizz and irlrs200 im from kerry so its a bit of a long drive to hear it but I can try email the vid i have to irlrs200 if you give me your email and you might be able to put it up somehow. Its an AVI file and its 3.57mb
  15. www.takakaira.com I have a short vid of it that I took with my digital camera but not sure how to post it here
  16. I have the silent Hi-power on my altezza. Got it from takakaira and it cost me about €330 less than buying it here. The best price i got here was €840. Its a lovely souns off it. Very little sound at idle and when on part trottle but has a lovely roar when you drive on. Never attracted any attention and was even told by a guard how well it sounds.
  17. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=34153 Thats the post I made when I first joined if its any help.
  18. I had a bit of an incident last night and buckled one of my alloys. Anyone know anywhere in the uk i could source just one alloy. Don't really want to replace the whole set cause they are lovely alloys. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Enda
  19. I don't understand why they wouldn't do the tiptronic ones. I've seen in mags of rolling road days with auto cars in it. Seems like a lazy answer to me
  20. Wouldn't mind doing it too. let me know when and I'll try and organise myself. Heard westward is a good place and he offers good advise.
  21. Seriously considering getting one of these myself. Seems to display a good bit of info and nice and discrete. Its either this or guages but starting to prefer this. Was looking at it on takakaira but not too sure if I would get all the instructions in english?
  22. Sorry about the off topic. Has anybody bought electronic stuff off them. I'm a bit unsure about the electronic stuff cause of the lack of english instructions and come back if it dont work
  23. @ Noel. I'm in the Killorglin area. Dont go to tralee much really. Spent 3 years in college there so dont go in much any more. Must start going in a few saturday nights. I here there are alot of imports after landing around town with serious poke
  24. @ Dizz. I'm in kerry which is a bit of a spin for you. There is a lovely sound of the silent. Nice growl when you rev it but is easy to live with and no hastle for the guards. I have a short video clip of its sound that I did for friend before. I can try to email it to you if you want
  25. How's the going. I got the silent Hi-power from them. The exhaust cost about €353 and the shipping was about €175 so it was about €528 altogether. Was quoted about €840 to buy it here
