You do need the box off Fargo. He did sell them on Ebay at one time, ive never really figured out the circuit needed. but there is a post somewhere on here where someone else explained it, have a search for that

yeah that what i mean. yeah it loses if you dont use it, but i have one at home and one at work for the vehicles there and just check it every week, (they tend to have a charge level on them) and charge when needed.

Why not just get a jump pack? they charge from the mains

re-reading the light thats on is the handbrake light. either LED bulbs are being used, or you have a brake light out, the high one is the culprit in most cases

Brake pad limit indicator? Check your pads. Nope the IS doesnt have pad limit indicators Have you fitted LED bulbs? if so that will cause it If its the handbrake light you have a brake light out, check the high level one

However, if you take out the plastic section in the middle where the number plate goes to expose your massive intercooler, thats customization. :winky: Got it in one mate. and Fil, its doesnt need to be a lexus part. like fitting a defi gauge is a mod cause its off the shelf but not lexus. making a 6 hole gauge pod on the middle of the dash, thats a one off so custom

So i think you'll find the above rules are Legal requirements. The whole point of the original post is that some Muppet was using his fog lights when it was good visibility because they thought they were cool. And most people just think you look like a tw8t.

I wont cut the lights to mine as my car already exists and so wont be a new car. However theres a difference between Daytime Running Lights (clues in the name) and Headlights. The point however is that you will look like a ***** driving round with your foglights on when its not foggy and there not needed.

Unless its foggy dont have them on, you dont put your headlights on when its lights

I'd check the cam timing as well as if its always been like that it could be out by a tooth or something.

And its been fine till recently? Any ECU light come on the dash? have you checked the spark plugs. It does sound like its down on cylinders
