  1. Mike, can you put me down for another roof light please. I've sent the money, should be right. Stav
  2. Yeah, Put your headunit there and a pop out screen above
  3. i just searched for lexus is200 and it came up on day. the three we've got between us are the only ones i've seen.
  4. I've actually got two now, one on each side. The first one only cost me £25 off Ebay so it's just a matter of finding one.
  5. Mike, i wanted a set of Blue reversing lights as well please mate.
  6. I've just used one Remote cable that goes to one amp then off to another and then off again etc. For the Main Battery lead i've got a splitter fuse box. Like this: Main Wire in, Then however many wires out to the amps. And for the Negative, A similar thing but with out the fuses like this: Good connections then and a second fuse before each amp for that added protection
  7. If you look on your Pioneer headunit i'll bet there's a wire that will proberly be labelled "amp". This is exactly for that job. Connect this to the remote power for your amp, and voila!
  8. Good good, Well lesson learnt now make sure EVERYTHING is right before you start it up. I'll be rechecking everytyhing on mine i thinks.
  9. Thats right dan. Once you remove the standard head unit and top fan vents its pretty easy to see.
  10. Right, Don't know the exact code but apparently its Rage flourescent Orange over a Pink base coat to make them that bit brighter. Hope this helps.
  11. I'll give him a bell tomorrow and find out mate.
  12. This is my mates Audi Twin turbo with DayGlo (dyna-rod style) Orange Wheels
  13. thats a bloody good suggestion Dan. The problem he's just put forward to me is getin power to the amp. you'll have to run a wire from the front of the car anyway and remove the seats to get it though so you may as well do the whole job and change the lot.
  14. The headlights are just standard ones that i've taken apart and removed the orange bit then put silvertec bulbs in so they still flash orange. Theres explaination for that about as well.
  15. There TTE rims i think. Part of an Aftermarket kit thats available from most dealers and therefore quite common.
  16. Right, Firstly the SE and the Sport have the same stereo. The S is the one without the amp. If you use the guide i linked to that adds an RCA output on your standard Amp (hidden behind the glove box to the left) so then you can just run RCA cables from the standard amp to the amp for your sub. So from what your saying thats the easiest option for you, and keeps your stock headunit and speakers, but gives you the abilty to add an Amp and Sub. If you look through the Audio section it has been explained Many many times how to change the stereo and how much work it is. Thirdly the link IRLRS200 put you too is a new thing that will let you change the headunit for an aftermarket one with out changing all the speakers and that bypasses the stock amp. You could then use the RCA outputs of the aftermarket stereo to power your amp and sub. So you could do that but you'd have to buy the Leads, and an aftermarket headunit as well as your Sub and Amp. Again Hope this helps.
  17. Just play dumb with them. You can at least try what have you got to lose? Maybe the Earth wire connected to your headunit (i.e. the plug into the stereo) is slighty loose? Just a thought.
  18. You can't mate. To get it repaired will probely cost you around £200 - £300. Your options really are: Buy a second hand one from Ebay, If your car is less than 5 years old Lexus may replace it under warrenty. Change it for an aftermarket headunit (this isn't easy though, look through the audio section it's been covered many times.) Hope this helps.
  19. This could be another option if you just want to add an Amp and Sub and keep the standard head unit and speakers. RCA Outputs But like IRLRS200 said it's a lot of work changing all the stereo but it has been covered many many times in the Audio threads Stav
