  1. Right, I've just fitted a Digi box, aerial booster, and second screen to my stereo and now my stereo's developed an annoying whine. It's pitch gets higher and lower as i accelerate and slow down. Is it anything to do with the earths, or the live wire? and is there anything i should add to my stereo system to stop or suppress it? please help! Stav

  4. Your correct there. I've got a double DIN screen and i did cut the middle slant out of the surrond and that the fits. Although it did need a bit of sanding to remove any trace of the centre slat, and mine also needed a bit of sanding on the side and bottom to allow the screen to slide open but it looks a lot better. Hope this helps Stav
  5. i'll post a pic of mine in the morning and show you want i've done.
  6. I've been reading this topic: Boot lid needs Viagra And i was wondering if theres a member out there that wants to go halfs with me on the struts you can use to do this, that RS stock. These are the struts suggested: RS struts As you can see you can only buy them in two's and only one is needed to complete the mod. The bracket to attach to car you'll have to source yourself, as will i. But if anybody want to share the costs on the struts please PM me. Stav
  7. There not cheap but fit perfectly, they even fit so theres a gap below it so you can still get the carpet out to get to the spare. And the bass from them is still good. I was lucky and found a second hand one on ebay. But heres a link to the website: Click me!

  12. mines wired with the negative side going to earth, then the live coming from the battery going to the positive then from the positive as well to the amps. (I think) Only wired mine up to the amp for my sub though as i felt that was what really needed it and not so much the door speakers or 6x9's. I'm sure if i've wired it wrong someone will correct me shortly but i'm sure thats how i've got mine.
