  1. nope it never does this far down the salty see air prevents it
  2. I was also wondering about this too I opten go on long journeys with the missus who knows how to use the sat nav and its a bit inconvenient having to pull over to check something when she can do it from the passenger seat whilst changing cd's and reading a book
  3. Your not thinking of the couple that had supercharges are you rather than turbos
  4. remove intake replace with supercharger
  5. What sort of damage was done saying crashed my car now doesnt rev doesnt help to identify what damage was done and so what could be the problem. Pics might help too
  6. Update It will be fixed there wasnt any chassis damage there was subframe damage though currently Ive got a clio on hire :P and wont get my baby back for at least 3 weeks oh well should be grateful im getting it back at all
  7. What were the details of the claim if you dont mind me asking what was replaced etc
  8. Mines the back too when you say still the same in what way? I think this is going to go through insurance anyway so they should sort it al out
  9. cbr600 fsport as per sig and pic to the left
  10. A couple of pics for you to see what sort of damage was done
  11. okay the chances are il have to pop back up to see you again once theyve dicked around with it and put it back together all this happening and I only saw you 6 weeks ago. Oh well. Just unlucky I suppose. Just out of interest the fact that you changed the geo settings shouldnt come up with the insurance claim should it ie not lexus approved settings and so they might through the claim out. Never really thought about it tbh but should I have informed the insurance after your changes I just thought of it as a more intense tracking setup and so never thought of telling them :o would you tell them everytime you changed the tires and they were rebalanced I dont think so so never thought of telling them about those changes. Damn diesel spillages in winter
  12. What sort of job is a subframe? They think that might be ballsed
  13. it was a roundabout and not overly fast its one of those things where its the first rwd ive had first real winter in it and first real probs ive ever had just one more chalk on the board for experience I just hope its not too costly. As for speed I have no idea couldnt have been that fast as it was reasonably busy (surprised I didnt take anyone with me)
  14. Thats not too bad I can deal with that I just hope theres nothing else wrong with it
  15. My biggest concern is that its the rear wheel so I might have done damage to the diff drive shaft or anything else
  16. Lost the back end and hit a kerb this morning got a shattered rear wishbone for sure but not sure about other damage till I can get it on a ramp. What sort of cost is a snapped wishbone
  17. Id be concerned about how long it lasts protection wise if your cleaning every week it might no be too bad id be interested in a long term test compared to other waxes
  18. Ive started to realise just how much the is200 suffers with body roll and as im going up to see the Dr on monday I thought then would be a good time to add a couple of goodies to help the problem. So whats the most cost effective way of doing that I wouldnt want to spend hundreds on new coilovers and tbh if a simple spring upgrade for a couple of hundred would do just as good a job as a set of 400 quid arbs then il go with them it is xmas after all. Bare in mind this is a standard 05 se with no other mods
  19. The only thing is I wouldn't buy the auto anyway I prefer the feeling of being more in control and prefer driving a manual anyway Sounds like a 220d is the way to go plus point being its not 3-400 quid a year to tax
  20. Ive been thinking about the new IS series myself and yes the 250 petrol does look like the best one to go for however what about for those that spend their life in traffic jams and want to reduce things like yearly tax bills etc is the 220d really tht bad a car or is it just that people have no experience with diesel driving hence why they are having problems
  21. Cant recommend either bass junkies or cas the customer service from them are somewhat lacking I can however whole heartedly recommend www.caraudiodirect.com
  22. This guy is a genius, why spend money on turbos and intercoolers youve all got it wrong, just buy a few connector and joiner pipes and do this Please note: the link below contains language unsuitable for family or work viewing http://www.gmmodernmuscle.com/forums/viewt...asc&start=0 BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
