  1. Glad your happy Tom, car sounds good too on the way out ;) Regards, Gaz.
  2. Although there is a way to remove the top speed limiter, its very crude because it fools all the dependant electronics in the car - cruise control and gearbox included. For example the gearbox will shift down to redline in 3rd gear when you kickdown a high speed in 4th. Not ideal at all. Its being worked on at the moment as I want a proper way of de-limiting mine. Regards, Gaz.
  3. 120k km isn't a lot, certainly not high mileage! There are Supras in the UK with over 500k km on still going strong on original engine, gearbox and turbos. If you look after her, she will look after you! Regards, Gaz.
  4. Quite simple, there isn't one. Not in English anyway. The stock 2JZ-GTE (without VVTi) manual is available in english on the net. I don't even have a proper ECU pin-out in English yet (although its similar to the Supra VVTi ECU) Regards, Gaz.
  5. £12k should indeed buy you the right example. 2) Although I have seen the TV converted on a UK based car I have no idea how it done. I suspect it requires a whole new convertor. B+C) I am personally waiting for Pro-lex to release the AV Convertor for the car, this allows 3 inputs, so for example you could have DVD, Playstation and Sat Nav. You could install a rear screen system no problem in the meantime. The nav is not compatible at all in the UK. You need a new system to do this. 3) The car is very reliable. Maintain her properly and you shouldn't have any major problems. Regards, Gaz.
  6. You can say that again ;) Hmm.. the folder seems to have gone. I'll post it up again tonight! Gaz.
  7. Sod off, I have Tein's fitted ;) I am now getting another (more race orientated!) setup. Thanks guys, it was fun yeah. Shocked a lot of people yeah, never got overtaken on the day, passed loads of MR2 tubbies, MK1 Superchargers and MKIIIs too! Gaz.
  8. Me (Aristo) and Kevin (Supra) were at Elvington yesterday on a BookaTrack trackday organised by the IMOC and TOC clubs. Heres a few pics from the onsite photographer: The Aristo handles superbly for such a big heavy car, could take sweeping 90 degree bends at full boost (16psi), full throttle without it kicking out! Regards, Gaz.
  9. The Aristo is the rare one thats the difference ;) Theres are a lot of differences between UK and JDM cars if I'm being honest theres many spec levels on J-spec cars. Let me know if you want specific info (post here so others can chip in) Regards, Gaz.
  10. Theres a fair few on www.clublexus.com, but they are mainly USA cars. Regards, Gaz.
  11. Liking that... Could be a solution for getting an even better system in my Aristo :D Gaz.
  12. I couldn't do that, just giving Jurgen a bit of advice on the car :) You deffo getting that Brain? Its a lovely car. Congrats. Gaz.
  13. Oops! Anyway, I have seen pics off this car and it certainly justify's the fee. It does have 3 grands worth of Blitz wheels on, and I would have to say is probably the best looking MK1 Aristo I've ever seen :) The manual conversion makes it a rare treat. Gaz.
  14. 160 is an N/A 161 is a TT Gaz.
  15. As dangerous says, no performance gains in fitting these as the best settings are stock! If you have a MKII, and therefore VVTi, a Power Enterprise Camcon will let you make adjustments to the VVTi timing, this will give you more power, not a lot but some :) Regards, Gaz.

I've got one left of these. Decided to go for 2.5" in the end for safety. £250 because they were a little cheaper! Let me know - great way to start modifying your Aristo. Gaz.
  18. Thanks for the kind word guys. Its not quite pushing M5 power yet, wanted to sort her exterior wise, including suspension and brakes, this year and then sort the performance next year. Now I've got the bigger wheels I can put the Supra brake upgrade on :) I'll be on the Envy stand yes, Im driving the truck but hopefully a friend will be bringing this down. Currently spec is: Tom's Rad Cap Power Enterprise Upper Rad Pipe Power Enterprise Camcon Power Enterprise Air Filter Blitz SBC-ID VIII HKS SQV Envy 3" Decat Envy 3" Custom Exhaust System (rear box still to go on) Suspension: Tein CS Coilover Kit Wheels: Track - UK Supra 17's in black with Toyo R888 Rubber Street - Racing Hart CX-R 19" with FK451 Interior: Origin B2 Speed Camera Hardwired Others: Tinted Windows Clifford G5 Alarm with every option! Motorola Bluetooth Handsfree Kit
  19. My baby has her new boots on so I thought its about time you got those pictures www.envyperformance.com/picasa/v300/index.html Regards, Gaz.
  20. I'll get some exterior shots up next couple of days as the wheels go on tommorow. :D Gaz.
  21. Hi Bugsy. I got sorted out in the end, but this may help someone else :) Regards, Gaz.
  22. lot of US GS owners have a dragon TC, this has a 2800 stall speed. it gets excellent reviews - the guys with it fitted absolutely love it L-TunedParts has it tell Steve you came from LOC ;) ← Are we sure it'll fit the V300 'box? Gaz.
  23. Mine snapped 200 miles from home too. The plastic "ball" will have snapped off inside the catch. You need a new cable. The part is only £30, in order to fit it properly you need to remove half the front of the car though! Hence JCC's big labour bill! Gaz
  24. Hi Nigel, Great pics, I remember reading that on the GTR board :D I am taking my MK II Vertex to the 'Ring and Spa later in the year... Regards, Gaz.
