  1. If anyone wants a bargain, I have access to a T78 Powered Aristo MKI. Its a 92 car, milages is showing at 26Km only but cannot be guaranteed due to mods. 2. Heres a couple of pics of the new fronts. In short, I wouldnt recommend this to someone else because the calipers need modifying for clearance. This isn't an issue with a normal GS as the US guys don't seem to have any problems however the Aristo must have a larger/reinforced or just different track rod end assembly and this the calipers wouldn't normally clear this. The UK-spec Supra calipers clear very nicely but weigh a damn sight more! Regards, Gaz.
  3. Excellent. I had mine fully de-catted and it really takes off above 4000rpm, esp with the VVTi. I'd love to de-limit mine. Biggest problem with the car I think! Gaz.
  4. Hi there, Chances are you have a JBL sound system NOT a Mark Levinson. ML's aren't available on Aristo's. The amp should be in the boot on the drivers side if so. I don't know the specific outputs yet for individual speakers. Waiting on translating the electronics manual in Japan to english! Tell me, do you have the TV Screen model or just the standard head unit. Best Regards, Gaz.
  5. Yep fitted these to my MKII, still the same fittings. We keep them in stock, for the same price too... Gaz.
  6. Because the MK2 has a MAF and different pipework routing... I had a MK1 one too, it sold in about 5 minutes though! Gaz.
  7. Looking forward to seeing the Monster Mat... :D ;) Gaz.
  8. Hi guys, One of suppliers has one of these to clear... Its the metal stainless filter with full fitting kit. £165 inc VAT and delivery, normally £320 plus delivery. Bargain. Let me know if you fancy one. Gaz.
  9. Hi Yoshi, Nice to have you back, been looking at your site > mods are progressing nicely I see! Will have to catch up soon. Gaz.
  10. I wanted a TRD one but then I'd lose my tiptronic :( Gaz.
  11. I've shared it! ;) Let me get mine done through the week so you can see what it looks like... Gaz.
  12. Sorry didn't see your reply Brian. Yep its way cheaper than the Supra setup because the calipers can be had S/H for like £150. Supra ones are normally £350+ Everything is priced about the same. Another reason this is a great upgrade is that the calipers are about 4/5kg lighter each! Gaz.
  13. The most reliable unit is the Blitz SBC-ID VIII. Followed by the HKS EVC 5. The Apexi is pretty poor to be honest. Regards, Gaz
  14. Just about to start my brake upgrade for the Aristo. I am using Aluminium 4 pot calipers of the Lexus LS with a 315mm by 30mm disc. I sourced the calipers S/H and will rebuild them with a refurb kit and powdercoat them to make them look like new. I am utilising DBA Gold series discs. I cannot get my preferred choice of Endless Pads for the calipers so will have to resort to Project Mu Hyper Carbon+ pads. Will finish off with a set of Goodridge stainless hoses and Motul 5.1 fluid. These will not fit under stock wheels mind, the caliper is simply too wide. Hopefully this should offer me some serious stopping performance - just in time for the 'Ring! Gaz.
  15. I do try..! But my knowledge mainly extends to the to the MKII and the engine/mechanics of the MKI :)
  16. Hello, and welcome! Greenish switch - probably rear fog lights? Which lights have you got on the dash? The ECU re-set is nigh on impossible on the Aristo even if you fix the problem. We've just bought a £3k gizmo that should let us do this though. Theres no handbook for the Aristo unfortunately, although any questions you have, put a post of here and someone will come to your help! Gaz.
  17. I think its a 10", but its a MK1 so I could be wrong! ;) Gaz.
  18. They are self-levelling theres nothing to adjust them with other than that nut your talking about. My light (the one you got!) has recently come on and I can actually see a damn sight better at night so mines staying as is. I'll take a look this weekend and see if theres something than can be adjusted! Gaz.
  19. Hi guys, Well its not an easy job at all, let that be said! I've removed the factory Japanese nav, plumbed in the audio off the DVD. I've done this on an Aristo with TV, every other Lexus is different (inc the Altezza) so this won't work on anything else. I didn't use a convertor in the end, just hard wiring. One key thing here is that you will have to lose your radio in order to make this work. This is a turn-off for most I appreciate. You could get this to work by runing a switch if you like, something I may do later on if I miss the radio. Gaz.
  20. Anyone remotely interested will be happy to know that I have so far got the video working on the TV input of the Aristo. You need an NTSC player (DVD, etc) in order to do this but most are compatible these days. I've decided after conversations with Luke (soarer.tv) to go after a composite video rather than RGB/Sync. Just looking for audio now, will let you know when I'm done! Gaz.
  21. Hope someone gets that beast. Gaz.
  22. Not exactly, most GS stuff will work on the Aristo. I meant Supra is different to the GS really :) Gaz.
