  4. Also Are any of the sensors on the MK1 Lexus wide band?? Or are they all standard o2 sensors?? Wideband means range 0Volts to 5 Volts Standard 0Volts to 1 Volt
  5. I have seen on ebay UK quite a few univeral o2 or lambda sensors. Will these work on a Lexus?? Rather then shipping some from the states, i thought for £10-£15 each in the UK it was a bargin.   6. Would a butane blowtouch do the trick?? also if i just used some iso-propyl alcohol would this damage them or would it clean them. I know i can buy some new o2 sensors but i wanted to try cleaning them first. What are o2 sensors made of? and how easy is it to break them with a blowtorch?
  7. Hi everyone I was going to clean my o2 sensors but i dont know what to use. Can any one help? Will contact cleaner work (99% iso-propyl alcohol) or damage them? Lemon? WD40?? Voodoo???? water? Blow torch? anyone really know??

  9. Just spoke to the Lexus Garage, they do not carry the throttle body gasket in stock. Thus when they change the spark plugs at the dealer they reuse the same gasket!!! Just so everyone know. I have ordered a new one for £3 from Lexus. Well worth replacing

  11. I read on http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/spkplghnbook.htm#Red that adding octane boosts can damage the sparkplugs. Will this happen with optimax?? or just the additives?? If this is the case should I stick to normal unleaded or use optimax on my GS300 MK1? Also I have a product called Cataclean that helps clean the cat and valves. Should i use this before changing me spark plugs, or after, and thus have nice new clean ones? Cheers Kryz

  16. Would standard SC430 18" alloy wheels look good on a mk1 GS300??   17. I think i need some new sparks. I have got 62K on the clock. O2 sensors are ok and air filter seems clear. hopefully will get the MPG up for negative figures!!!

  19. THe manual suggest If abnormal, replace the spark plug. Recommended spark plug: ND PK16R11 NGK BKR5EP11 Are there any performace spark plugs about that would be better?
