Well got my 3L can filled with V-Power now, and I can bring my Halfrauds digital tyre gauge with me, apparently a Best Buy according to Auto Express.
-
You've done 3000 miles in a few weeks :o
Well this isn't till July, should be 3000 by then.
-
He's doing a few FOC on the day via lottery mate.
Stav
Unfortunately I have already paid and have my car's geo calibrated a few weeks back, I just want to squeeze my 3000 mile recheck in on the day.
-
Anyone has connection with the motor press? I'm sure WIM can benefit from some extra promo, I recall Tony taking a pic with lots of MX5 a while back and there was an article in the newspaper/magazine.
Probably silly question, but Tony are you free to take on any geo rechecks on the day?
-
I have a 3L can so I can bring that along with fuel, no trolley jack though.
-
So to confirm front gate at 0730?
-
My car should be on the TOC stand so I don't need mine in the paddock, and as I don't have a helmet Chris is welcome to ride along, but I probably should invest in one soon (do I need 1 for the ring?).
-
I should be able to make it.

For those still deciding, there is an opportunity to get a free ticket, see link for details.

Bump, only a week away!
Oh and Dave you don't have to give me a ticket as I have unfortunately already paid for one together with my club stand pass with TOC, so you can get an extra helper if needed.
-
Careful of not repeating pics already posted, here are some from other angles.

I've received mine today and installed it, nice bit of kit.

According to the BBC, sunny intervals expected.

From TOC:
Hi EveryoneI have spoken to a lady called Abbie from JTS promotions. As time is getting nearer you will now be able to ring her directly on 01775768661 and book directly with her. Have your credit card ready to hand and state the club name and your name and how many passengers will be coming along with you. Driver £10 and passenger £15 Due to the ever changing numbers of toc's stand she thinks that it will be best that we will collect the tickets on the gate. So far there are at least 7 car's booked to come onto our stand. Abbie Say's that she will be on the gate from 6AM so all you need to do is state your name and club and you will be given the tickets.
There is a possibility that she could send the tickets to your home which will be posted on wednesday, but if you dont receive them. No problem just come along to the show and you will be given them on the gate along with club pass
Any questions about this please pm me or call Abbie or Keith on the number above

Well my plan is to drive up to Preston after the WIM meet, as I have a hotel booked now for the Sunday night, so Monday for me.
-
Alternatively go with Stebel Nautilis Compact horns, on eBay for about £20 each. Made in Italy, 139db, mounts nicely behind the grill.

I wonder whether it has anything to do with contracts between airport and airlines. Some may recall a few weeks back where flybe was PAYING people to fly out from Norwich airport because it has an agreement with the airport that it will fly X number of passengers from the airpoirt by a certain deadline, otherwise there is a hefty fee.

So has any one heard of this #927 bulb or is it called something else in the UK that we would recognise?
It looks like:
http://www.bulbtown.com/927_MINIATURE_BULB..._BASE_p/927.htm
927 bulb is the same used as the high level 3rd brake lamp on the IS, also known as T15 (thanks to aztecbandit/bulbman for info from earlier post).

The only site I found selling decent LED replacement for this bulb type is from:
http://superlumination.com/906.htm
I believe sparkystav may have purchased from them before, so check with him for more details. There are some other fancy bulbs from that site too.

Do you have "daylightrunning lights in LED " as well?
The UK does not require DRLs, so if you are referring to the main beams at low voltage (like IS300 DRLs in US), then no.
If not the main beams let me know which lamps you are referring to?

Was a great day out, met some friendly people from TOC, watched some good racing, very enjoyable. Too bad so few from the LOC came as it would have been a great meet!
