Sounds a bit harsh to me :o What does everybody else think? exactly my thoughts when i read that... understandable they would argue the point, but c'mon, free speech and all that! i think before you start throwing the threat of solicitors around, you should see what publically this would do to you. i take it it easier for you to get a solicitor to fight your battles, rather than face an open forum, and defend yourself. id say Mr Goose has been frank and open, i take it Mr Nemisis you think he is wrong prove it

good luck Yep, I agree. if this car even makes it to JAE (UNDER ITS OWN STEAM) id be supprised, maybe TDI like there work trailered to shows like it was last year i see from the pictures. ITS ALMOST COMICAL. 16 months nearly theres doing a bit on the side, but i have read back over posts this time last year, and TDI were saying that this car "could" be at last years JAE. I notice TDI dont even comment on this Project very much anymore, Where are the Latest pictures?, or even the Video of it running :) is it running? You may not like the comments that i leave or others, but if you Keep us informed, as we are ALL intrested then maybe if we know whats going on, we can keep our thoughts to ourselves. im actually disapointed, as i am sure many others will be when once again this car doesnt make a show. as for what matts thoughts are at loosing a 2001 car for nearly 2 years. hmmmmmmm, You have had the car for longer than its been owned by matt I AM COMING TO JAE, And heres a nice little Quote from last year. I think if your going to make a project like this public, then you should equally be open to praise and questioning of your actions. I am fully aware the undertakings that something like this involves, but all i have read over the past 16 months is, good progress interposed with ".....a lull ", "....just need to do this" we have been waiting for the ecu "problem" to be done since march. well done anyway, i hope to see the car one day, meet you Mark, Simon and Matt. i may just take the time of work and come to this meet Zee refers to. would it be ready? on a final note, maybe Matt does have issues, i doubt he would post them publically though, Would you? all the best. :winky:

:shutit: if i was Matt, id ask whats been done the last few weeks, or is it a year, nope not a year 16 months , in all honety, can you really justify 16+ months, even doing a bit on the side. i know it sounds like im just stirring, but as a person in the trade myself, it seems a very strange way to promote the way you run your business. I can only assume you have kept the owner fully informed all the way through this conversion, for him to be happy to allow it to take so long, must be getting a fantastic deal. HMMMMMMMM will be amazing all the same to see this car on the road, hmmmmmm, ive said that a few times in this topic.

well having just spoke to Mark.......... only a few weeks really, defo on the downhill slope........not enough workers!! :) so hows it going, seems to have gone real quiet . there has been no pictures for ages, looking through the masses of pages. Mat, maybe you should put this car on Classic car insurance

Mark,do you have all the bits you need to do it,its only 14 weeks till JAE,im assuming you want to show your handywork at this show and others as this will be an awsome machine as you even stated yourself,how long you had the car so far?

Hi guys, some even more interesting news has come my way from within the Toyota/Lexus world In August 2003 Lexus GB will be releasing a special edition IS200/300 There are also plans to release a diesel-engined model to be powered by either a 2.5 or the 3.0 diesels from the Land Cruiser, this should be before the end of the year. The 4-speed auto currently in use in the IS200 will be dropped in favour of a 5-speed auto. TMC is aiming that all Toyota and Lexus models will be EURO NCAP 5 star rated by the next few years, as and when the new models are released Thanks Spyshot

no way...sorry that price is a little glittery id expect to pay that for an induction kit for a ferrari or some other exotic car but not for an IS200 THE PIPE....i could make in my shed with a lenth of metal pipe and some silicone bends. the box looks good, but is still way to expensive....if the prices were realistic they would shift more i doubt they will shift many at that price

Hello, my name is Spyshot, i would like to inform you of a new model undergoing evaluation. I have been told by several insiders of the possible existence of this vehicle and one possible sighting in Germany. the vehicle is described as physically looking like a IS200/300 from the front, however the rear is not a booted or sportcross variation. it has a liftback(hatchback) form, similer to the BMW Compact. on hearing of the sightings, i contacted the German Dealer where the car was seen on trade plates and asked for clarification on this car. the dealer told me "i have heard of the possibility of such a car, but cannot confirm it.......sorry"
