  1. Calipers look good m8, like the red on blue, the blue i've got is dark with silver decals, grill looks nice aswell.
  2. No the bumper was already on it, it's had a bump though and the bumper, bonnet and off-side wing have been replaced and arn't a perfect colour match so re-spray is defo on the list somewere along the line. Unintentional but definitely unique bumper mod, pretty neat! In that case I put the sportcross bumper on myself thought it would look good

  4. Thanks for the welcome, sorry should of said i've been a member for 14months just never put any pics on
  5. Lookin nice mate, any mods planned? Already done sports grille, de-badged, blue interior lights, aftermarket stereo, next on list paint calipers blue with silver decals, ik20 sparks, then when i've got a bit of cash lowered, boot spoiler, either new or refurb alloys, then maybe k&n, happy with the power at the moment so no plans for turbo's or anything like that, i'll just wait until my 6 numbers come up and get an ISF. Need to sort out the condensation in the headlights aswell.
  6. Its' about time I put a picture of my Baby on here.
  7. Ok cheers do I need to download from elswhere or can I get it off here somewere?
  8. Am I being thick, can't seem to find out how to attach a picture to posts, thought it was about time I posted a pic of my car considering i've been a member for over 12months and haven't posted any yet :duh:
  9. Checked the gap when they arrived all spot on, but excellent advice to all best to make sure.
  10. Ouch glad it's getting sorted.
  11. Getting them from Camskill, best prices anywere, and defo not getting the hankook, just can't decide between the Toyo TR1's or the Falken 452's. Gone with the Falkens £240 for 4 delivered from Camskill :) Thanks for the help guys.
  12. Welcome, got mine with a bit of baggage, more cosmetic though, it had had a small bump which hadn't been sorted properly but is now and had a couple of other issues takes time but slowly sorting it out, well worth it in the end, I love mine to bits and it's not nearly upto the standard I want but you can have a lot of fun getting it there.
  13. Would love some pilot sports but can't afford £100+ quid per tyre, so out of the ones iv'e listed which ones need to order 2morrow afternoon guys so all advice throughout the night and in the morning would be greatly received :duh:
  14. The Goodyears are only £10 a tyre more, is the difference worth the extra tenner?
  15. What's the speed rating on yours? is it less or more than Z and if so did you check with your ins company, just noticed a few older threads saying this may be an issue. Just rang ins. company and they didn't have a clue but said they'd find out and let me know, original speed rating is Z 150mph max, the tyres i'm looking at are W 168max so surely this can't effect the insurance if the W's can with stand greater speeds. Ok ins. company have now said it's fine to change to tyres with different speed rating as long as it's a higher rating than OEM and you notify them of the change so you can go up from Z but not down even though W is before Z in the alphabet it can apparently go faster, all of this seems stupid to me any way because my car would probably only just crack 135mph 15 short of the Z rating and a speed I would'nt dream of doing ;) So back to the original which tyres should I get. My head hurts
  16. There all around the same price £10 or £20 difference, the Goodyear are the most exspensive £70 per tyre the Falken are £50 per tyre with the others in the middle, really want the ones with the best grip wet/dry read good things about the Toyo's & Falken and Autoexpress have voted the Goodyear best on the market(i'd assume only in a certain price bracket though) i've read the Hankook's have a weak tyre wall i'm not going on track days or anything but may steer clear anyway just in case.
  17. Says on the box: Gasket seat 1/4-1/2 turn and taper seat 1/16 turn so i'd assume it's the gasket seat turn i'd need to follow, would this 1/4-1/2 turn be as you said when the plug is just getting tight

  20. Ok cool how did you know when to stop turning, sounds a bit daft but I really don't fancy messing this up.
  21. Ok the times come to buy new rubber, been looking on-line and found some good deals but not sure which tyres to get so you guys opinion would be a big help, like most i'm not flush at the moment so have to shop around anyway out of these tyres who thinks what Goodyear F1 GSD3 Eagle Toyo Proxes PX4 or T1 Hankook K104 Falken FK452/ZE512 or ZE912 Need them pretty soon before the local Rozzers catch me driving on slicks, Cheers Everyone :)
  22. What about screwing them back in how do you know when there in far enough as you don't want to over tighten or even snap them, just got a set and was thinking of doing it myself but don't want to c :tsktsk: k it up, might just take it somewhere then it's someone else's problem.
