  1. petrol flap spring mechanism........dont know the part number though
  2. If you lift the boot up by hand does it stay up or does it just fall down???Im looking at fitting a bigger spoiler on the boot soon and i might need to uprate the lifters??My boot spoiler will be up for sale if anyone interested
  3. i agree the standard alloys do look good if they are in good condition without a doubt! I changed my wheels and grille and eyebrows and everything else i have in mind not only bcos i also think it looks good but bcos i want my car to look different to everyone elses...........i must admit since changing my wheels i dont know if its the tyres or if its running with 18s but the ride/grip is not quite as good as when i had on the original wheels.I sold the originals on ebay for 205 quid to a guy with a MR2 and they needed refurbed. The money i got for them and what it would have cost to refurb almost came to the same as my new wheels/tyres.
  4. I think ill just go for a new one bcos it seems to be a problem with this headlights and wouldnt like to buy someone elses one that condens up. The brows fitment was perfect but the sticky pads were crap so i used halfords number plate sticky pads which take a much better hold. The number plate i should have taken a pic before i cut them, they looked sh it and looks so much better now.but as i said you need to measure well for the holes in bumper.
  5. Yeh i guess so i have had mine on for about 3 weeks and there is no damage to the stickers or discolouration
  6. my boot does not spring up, but once i lift it up it stays and it takes a reasonable bit of weight to push it back down
  7. I fitted my eyebrows today and private plate which i cut 1.5 inch off either side because it looked too much empty space at the ends.I would have liked to cut off a little bit more but couldn't because of the little square holes in the bumper that the original plate holder clips into. also you will notice i too have taken off the Lexus badge from the grille. looks like i will have to change the drivers headlamp as well bcos of the condensation......does anyone know the price of a replacement???
  8. this is true but it runs inline with the calipers.I dont see a problem with this im sure if you call the graphix supplier he would be more than willing to cut them curved.Unless offcourse that LOC have already bought a squillion of these already??? How many people prefer the curved to the straight?
  9. Looks sweet Adie....How much have you dropped yours it looks a good height or are you using adjustables?
  10. haha right heres what to do if you want straight ones get them from the the club!if you want curved get them from ebay(2 quid cheaper) and donate the 2 quid to the club!!!sorted Any jobs going in the commitee???
  11. its better to shaft the club than to shaft the punters who pay to keep the club running dont you think???Im sure your suppliers could come up with the curved ones?
  12. Just been looking at the caliper sticker in the club shop and notice that they are printed in a straight line opposed to the ones off ebay that are in a curve.Me personally i like the ones in a curve so anybody looking to buying new stickers its something to be aware of.
  13. When i say a sun strip i dont mean the solid sunstrip stuck on the outside i mean like window tinting in some sort of smoke colour just as in windscreens with a tint at the top
  14. ...............and make sure you get off all that brake dust first!!!!!!!!!!
  15. if you wanted prestige look why put on a sport grille???
  16. i took my L off a few days ago just being curious and loved the look i dont think pictures are doing justice.I like it with it off. you need a sunstrip on windscreen and front lip i think
  17. Thanx all for your help and i have managed to get it with your help nick thanks again...cheers...
  18. i took off the lining and its sealed from the back i might need to take off the whole plastic strip that the 2 lights are fitted into?
  19. i put the car in for MOT today and all it needed was a number plate bulb :D so the guy passed it and told me to replace it so i edged a screw driver up the side of the cover from all angles and cant get it to move.Dont want to break the trim.Am i going about it wrong?
  20. Result !!! Maybe this should be pinned
  21. it tells you in the Lexus book in your glove box what your covered for and for how long. You will see wheels and they are covered for 3 years
