Its more than $7/gal over here ($10.08 this morning, UK gallon) but think I'll stay with my Lex. Surprisingly strong in a crash though : Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load! The only thing that clip did for me was to confirm why I hate small cars. I'd only buy one if I suddenly developed a deep loathing of my legs!

This is why I went to gas! I was ready to sell mine, before I realised that I'd end up with a worse car and I'd lose more than the cost of the conversion through the fact that the bigger engined cars have gone down in value so much. No way I'm giving my baby away for that!

Why not keep the Lex and get a little van to run around with your stuff? I would have to have a VERY good reason to swap my GS for either of those

Hi :) We went for the BRC system. It's a phase sequential system so it automatically changes over to gas once the revs are right, the engine temp is right and the gas temp is right, but it does it in sequence rather than all at once. It still only takes a couple of seconds, but it is smoother. The cost was £2323, so we paid more than you can get systems for elsewhere, but tbh we'd rather pay more and have a better system. We really didn't want to go for a cheap system on the Lex. Plus the guys are only 5 mins from where I work so any probs they are right there. Are you going to JAE? I'll be bringing her along if you want to take a gander! :)

Yeah very pleased. The guys who fitted the system had worked on the 300 engine before so that was comforting to know. Yup, so log as we don't get flooded again we'll be there! :)

Well we got the GS converted and we're VERY pleased so far. Seems that with the fuel shortage at the moment it was rather fortunate timing! We're getting the same MPG at the moment and no noticeable loss of power. We did pay for a more expensive system, but with prices as they are and our driving paterns, it should pay for itself in 44 weeks :) Thank you for your help guys! :)

I have to agree..... Black leather seats on a hot day and a little skirt. Ouch!

Well, my mate said her driving instructor recommended driving without shoes on, so if it's illegal then he's naughty! I have to say most days I wear one heel and one bare foot. The bare one being the accelerator pedal. Mine's auto, so don't need to worry about the left heel getting broken! Lol x
