I thought that it was the same system as on my BMW 7 series, the small bottle was for washer concentrate, lots of bugs on the screen, you use the concentrate to clear them then use the main washers, to wash it all off.

The dome fuse is in the fuse box under the bonnet, behind the battery, 10 amp.

Yes it is a late 1993, series 2 and the colour is Midnight Indigo Pearl.

Yes the blue one is the new one, the silver one is my other one, i am sure the alloys are off a IS200, i will have to get rid off some of my cars, they are becoming an expensive habit.

I picked up my second LS400 the other day, it has full Lexus service history, new disks and pads, new shocks, all the bushes have just been done and a new front to back stainless exhaust, the service just done included, the timing belt, so i am very happy with it. It has a new set of alloys and tyres, which look great, the only things needing done are, the back bumper will need a repaint, as it is marked and although the alarm works, the key will not work the central locking, i have checked and replaced the battery and tried the re learning process with the key, but no go, i wish the key had a light on it to let you know if it is working or not. It passed its MOT on Saturday and has 6 months tax on it, so hopefully it will fairly cheap to run for the year, as apart from renewing the upper wishbones on my other LS400, i have not had any problems.

I have had my set on for around two month now and have had no problems with them, they looked the same, i had no problems with fitting them at all and now have no noise of the front and the steering is a lot better feeling as well, the service was stunning from them at £154 delivered, including import duty, well worth it, 10 out of 10 from me and around £500 cheaper than Lexus.

Would JB Weld, liquid metal not be the thing to use, fixes just about anything.

Well they arrived today, spot on with fantastic service and i saved around £230, i should start importing them and put them on Ebay ^_^

Well so far so good, quick turnaround as he has sent by UPS Worldwide Express today , with a tracking No, so we will see how quick they take to get here.

I will find out what the service is like from them, as i have ordered a set from them today.

I did this as well today, did it while i was having a look to see why the drivers lock would not close the central door locking with the key, i think it must be the solenoid, as using the key, lock button and door switch, all will lock but not unlock the doors, the solenoid looks like a right pig to get to, so i have left it for now.

There is no rust on the underneath of mine, i had mine up on a ramp last month to tighten up the cat joint and it was like new.

That's what i love about Lexus, they do last very well, with all the reports about Mercedes C and E Class rusting away, my Series 1 still look immaculate, even under the bonnet looks like new and it has never been garaged.

Do NOT use this chip, all it does is fool the engine into thinking it is cold all the time, so the engine over fuels all the time using the cold start injector, it is not like a true performance chip, like Star performance or Superchip, which reprograms the engine mapping. This is just a resistor that brings in the cold start cycle all the time and you will risk over fuelling and washing the petrol off the cylinder walls, killing the cat converters and your MPG will rocket, that is why it is so cheap and not £200 to £300.

Could anyone please tell me how to replace one of the number plate bulbs, does the whole unit that runs across the top of the number plate, need to be unscrewed and then levered out, to repace the bulb.

Will the LEXUS: SC400 & CS400 4/90 - 11/94 - FRONT UPPER WISHBONE INNER BUSH KIT from Superflex, fit the LS400 MK1?.

It is a Feb 1992 MK1, i take it a later model seat would fit in ok, does anyone know the leather colour as i can find paint code colours but not the leather colour, which is i think code L385. I will have a nose around Ebay and see if i can find a seat the right type and colour, thanks again for the help.
