Hi Depending on the age of the Ls 400 you might find the coin tray just above the boot and fuel release buttons just press the panel and it pop out ( no funny coment ) well anyway thats where it is on mine happy hunting Andy

Hi all I've got a mighty dot system on my vehicle which was done through work it won't stop your car getting nicked but it will help in the recover of your vehicle or if the car is stripped down for parts who ever has them parts will nicked if the police get involved If some of you don't know what mighty dotting is i will try and explain ( bear with me ) Mighty dotting is a system where millions of dots naked to the eye are sprayed on your vehicle everywhere and on every part the only way you can see these dots are under ultra violet light and impossilble to get off or spray over.each kit has its own serial number on each dot which is inputed on a national police list when the kit is purchased.The police can retrive the number through a microscope and the light and it only take one dot for a conviction The retails for about £250+vat but if you get a group buy i can get a discount just got to make sure if anyone can do it or it has to be our registered garage i will let you all know if anyone is interested cheers Andy

HI ALL I've just done a oil change on my 1991 ls400 and the oil filter looking up from the underneath the engine is at the bottom on the n/s on my vehicle once you have removed the plastic engine shield hope this helps in some way Have a Happy Easter

HI ALL I've asked this question before many times and had some replys but can't find them now(doh) anyway i have a ls400 and it wants to be lowered but can't find any kit in the uk that will fit this model i have found a couple of sites in the us that have a kit at good price but they don't know if the us kit will fit the british model can any help with this question or point me in the right direction where i could get a kit or the answer to this question i would like to bring the car to gaydon but would be an embarassed to show it CAN SOME KIND PERSON HELP ME

Hi DanMc I own a 1991 ls400 and bought it private at a steel it had 52000 on the clock full lexus histoy,T&T cambelt and service lots of bits and pieces all for the sum of £4500 The car drives like a dream,mint condition and with a cracking stereo Nothing majors gone wrong ( touch wood ) had a problem with the front brakes sticking but cured now and the drivers seat seams to collapse but for that price who cares The only thing i dont like is it had to reverse and see the back of the car so parking sensors have been fitted And also aftermarket parts are hard to find or its just me not looking hard enough

HAVEN'T TRIED THIS BRAND OF PARKING SENSOR BUT WE SUPPLY AND FIT ONE SIMILIAR TO A RUN OF THE MILL BRAND OF VEHICLE AT WORK WE HAVE FOUND THAT THESE ARE GOOD BUT PREFER THE OTHER SENSOR MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH ROOM BEHIND THE BUMPER TO WORK AS WE HAVE TO TAKE THE BUMPER OFF OUR VEHICLES TO INSTALL ALSO THATS IT'S VERY CLEAN AND DRY WHERE YOUR ABOUT TO STICK THE FOIL AS SOME TEND TO PEEL AFTER A TIME WHEN THEY GET DIRTY AND WET APART FROM THAT GOOD PRODUCT,GOOD IDEA HOPE THIS HELPS
