I'm after 4 or 5 5 spoke 17s, mint ones only please. Non-referbed originals with the diamond cut face would be nice but I'll settle for referbished ones. Preferably no tyres on them or I can remove them and get you the tyres back if you'd like them for spares and are local(ish). Also after a set of chrome heater rings, seen a few cars on here with them but got no idea where to get them?! Cheers

Mine was the same, I eventually managed it with the hammer and a friend holding the timing belt on the cam pulley with a set of big water pump pliers but my next course of action was to put the breaker bar against the subframe or the floor and just flick the starter over. Old trick I used to use on my old bmw. Have to literally just juickly turn the starter on and off again though!

thats the thing, I drive the car for 40+ miles a day so the battery is getting constantly charged????? I have my car booked in with Toyota GT at the end of this month but wanted to get this fixed before hand! Only had the battery for about 6-7 months! And you also got ripped off! i almost bought a Halfords one but tried Lexus in the end but thought they would be more, was just over £50 from Lexus and they gave me a FIVE year warranty! Jason :P My nearest dealer is about an hour and a half away though so guess I'll have to be happy with it

Cold weather has probably taken it's toll on the battery by the sounds of things. Mine was the same before christmas, I got one from halfords with a 4 year warranty for £65 but that was at trade price. Full price was just short of £100

I thought, or should I say, only noticed it when I was steering whilst in motion. But it made a simular noise when stationary and turning the steering wheel. Checked the Power steering fluid level and that seems ok. I was convinced it was the brakes up until this afternoon when it did it stationary.... :duh: Looking at this and your first post I'd say it was your power steering pump working if there is a whine as well. I bet it's worse when stationary on full lock. If it is this take a look at your PAS fluid, if it''s more grey than red might be worth getting it changed.

I'm thinking about angel eyes seen as how I'm pulling my lights apart to paint them black inside anyway. I've seen some pics with both the angel eyes and the paint job done and they look much better than just the angel eyes on the standard light.

Just think of electric, heated half leather seats and RWD fun and it is worth every penny. I got an IS 200 se on sunday for £6500 on a Y plate with 57k on it and I am over the moon with it, not bad for my second car I guess.
