Not at all dude, I went to my local audio/alarm shop and the guy says he can do it via the car speakers, but he wants too much money. I trust this guy and know he can do it as he has worked on a friends motor before. He seems to know his stuff. May just bite the bullet and get hm to do it, dunno tho

Does this work on the newer DVD Nav systems? I pressed the buttons and done the lights thing, got the diagnostics screen up (in Jap), all comes up ok, then im lost. The instructions in the link above seem to be for the CD based system. I have two screen shots of what I got, would it be useful if I posted them?

Yeh we got pulled over by custom police...undercover PC plod saw me (obvious reasons), told us to pull over...usual questions, saw Paul in the driver seat and let us off! Didn't even check the car/boot... ;) Come on Sanj, you know that is not the whole truth. He forgot to mention the part about him having an anal examination!!!!

Thats what I thought fella, thats why I asked first. Ok, anyone have a guide to taking the radio out on a mk2 GS? Also does it need a code? Thanks for your help guys
