    Out here, if it's modded, the plan is invalidated. (As long as it's specific to the area in question. I.e. If you put on a custom exhaust, the exhaust and engine is invalidated but not the electronics etc.) There is no "onus" to prove mod did damage. Even window tinting has to be done by the dealer cause if it ain't and the say window winder breaks, they will not replace/repair free of charge. Very autocratic here in SA.... LOL, Norwood, the place has changed alot over the years....

    Tks everyone, Just a quick Q, In the UK are your cars also bound by "free" Maintenance Agreements restricting / forbidding you to mod your cars whilst under the term of the agreement?

    There is no easy way to do no 1 other than to physically put in the camera into the memory banks. When I see a fixed camera, I quickly register the point, then save it into memory. When I get home, I then edit the memory point. be sure to change the icon to "With Sound" / direction so that it will beep as you approach the point. To the downside, it beeps some 500m before approaching the point. But, that gives ample time to slow down.

    The ECT button does exactly as said in the first post, as for the fuel consumption (I wont use figures as we use KM's / Litres not Miles / gallon) but the consumption all boils down to your driving style. The ECT power on, gives you more power, if you drive more aggressively with this power, consumption will go up. If however, U drive the same style as when u drive with it off, consumption will go down. E.g. If u travelling up a hill and gear in low revved 6th, it's going to take more petrol to maintain the speed than what it would if u were in high revved 5th.

    Hi all, Sorry if Iam not from the UK but I am passionate about Lexus and whilst we in SA, had our own LOC, it was very dormant and appears to be non-existent now. I have a 2007 Lexus IS 250 SE A. If it is any consolation, I was born in the UK.... LOL
