  1. Hids4u has a 2 year warranty on hid kits:)
  2. Isn't hard to find out if it is a premium stereo. This is how you find out. Get in your car turn your head have a look at the stereo and read the text Lexus Audio premium system (something like that) which should be right beneath the volume button
  3. Yes it should be allowed a few mins. If you drive right away you can actually hear that it isn't good for the engine. :shutit:
  4. Is that a good idea? I always thought it's best to start the car and drive it as soon as possible after - at least that's what used to be recommended, maybe it's no longer necessary... Intresting thought. I found this one online: http://www.jsonline.com/weather/headlines/79023122.html However, it does not conclude anything, I believe. I suppose the car should be warmed up at least a bit (like 2-3 minutes) in extreme cold conditions before take off. Just enought to remove snow and frost off the car ;) It takes longer than 2-3min
  5. Nope. Having my front bumper off atm and the socket is a part of the reflectors so we just have to live with it i guess
  6. The IS 200 starts really well indeed :) When i got in my car this morning the display showed -20°C. The seat was rock hard and i was happy i don't have full leather or else my rear would be frozen solid. Car didn't seem to have any problems starting but the clutch, gears and servo was sluggish. Wonder how it is to start when it's -30°C. Doesn't get colder than -25°C in town but remember like last year at my girlfriends cabin it was -30°C in the morning and i was driving my moms Mazda 6. It almost didn't start! Temperatures at her cabin can get as low as -35°C Anyone have experience starting your IS when it's -30°C?
  7. Where are you plenning on fitting the LED strips?
  8. Yeah can't wait :D Arm rest and manual must be heaven
  9. Ahh so you can move the whole socket? Is that difficult to do? Please let me know how if you manage to do it :) Looks like you only have to unscrew 3 Philips screws for each socket. Maybe I'll get this done tomorrow
  10. Front bumper have to go off to install fog lights as far as I know :) HB4 for fog and low beam(recommends anti glare for this one) HB3 for full beam
  11. Not even sure it's the Lens. I really don't know. Only that it have something do with reading the cds is not working.
  12. Driving auto is like taking the bus which is horrible.. Manual makes me enjoy my ride
  13. Sorry to hear that... Maybe the lens is broken? Also burning your own cds and use them may not work.
  14. Hey! found this thread like 10 min ago so i decided to get an armrest now! I found, ordered and paid an armrest(complete install) from a salvage IS 300 in US 2 min ago! took like 1 min to find it on ebay $ 215 only! Thanks for making this thread! You reminded me of something I really need :D
  15. Did you get the anti-glare btw? Does the bulb sit "straight" in your holder? It doesn't in mine, and I've been trying to figure out a way to get it perfect :) No it doesn't sit straight but i you can unscrew the socket and place it so it almost straight :) Gonna look into it when i remove my front bumber
  16. Really don't know. Upload another picture. The carbon doesn't look like it should be in the picture right? Red stitches ? =/
  17. Have the same problem.. Lots of snow now and as you may know snow turn in to water which turn in to condensation. Cleaning the window help a lot for me:) You can use the backwindow heater to remove condensation. Also having s*x in the car isn't really smart if you want to avoid condensation :)
  18. Order some bulbs of hid4u as well. Anti glare bulbs makes life easier for other drivers :D
  19. hi Solhatt, when you finished connecting the Grom adapter, where exactly did you stick this? it looks as though there is a fair bit of space behind the stereo - is this the case? also any recommendations where i can get this Grom adapter.. i would like one ASAP :-) its up for $59.99 on the grom website which works out to be £36ish quid.. which is not bad but just wondered if anywhere else is cheaper... thanks Izzy You will see where i placed it if you look at the pictures but if it's hard to see i guess i can supply you with another picture :) And when you are placing it i believe you have to put it on the opposite side as I'm driving a RHD IS 200 great - i also drive on Right hand side..being from the uk. your pics look as though your car is Left hand drive?? anyway i need a grom adapter...before i can do anything..lol Haha it should actually be LHD -_- Didn't notice i wrote wrong
  20. Any recommendations on what colour I should paint the calipers? Blue IS 200 :)

  22. The main problem is that i guess i would require a 9000000000kW bulb to project it as it was seen 1000 km longer south also. And there where no skies this morning :) (usually isn't when its -10°C) Russian ballistic missile is the best explanation for sure :) But still an a amazing display of light
  23. The russian claims they don't have anything to do with it ^_^ Well they aren't excatly known for telling the truth
