  1. I had the grom kit fitted to mine and that worked just fine without cd's in the stereo?

Mine did have the error3, but i free'd all the cd's and reset the trays all to the bottom of the stereo (top loading stereo) useing the cogs.

I dout it will be a fuse, where are you located, as i have a working toploading stereo that worked with my grom kit when it was in (swapped it about 5 weeks ago).

  2. When you put the cd player back into the car did it make the noise like it was moving the cd trays about in side?

If not did say that when you removed the cd's you didnt rest the trays in their resting possition, to do this remove the stereo again and by hand wind down the trays with the cogs you can see.

The unit my think that theres still a cd stuck mid load so its throwing a hissy fit!

    HTH...

  3. Just looked at the bulbs youve bought off eBay, and they look the right type!

As to why their blowing fuse's i can only think their faulty?

As for drawing more amp voltage to make the fuse blow, leds draw a fraction of what normal bulbs do, so that's not it!

Did you fit LED bulbs in all 4 brake/tail light holders or just the fog light modded ones?

Try swapping the bulbs about a bit, just relpace one at a time, test to see all's well then move on to next and so on, you my find one of the led's to be faulty or that your wireing my be at fault?

    Hope this helps.

  4. Need to see pics of how you wired them up!

But it sound like youve wired one light up ok, and the other back to front, so to say as leds only light one way not both like normal bulbs.

IE: if you swap a nornal bulb around in its holder it still work, not so for leds!

Hope this helps, and iv not just told you how to suck eggs!!!!

  5. I,v had both in my is200, the grom was soooo easy to fit and worked very well as a music source but i didnt use it as a phone calling source due to the parrot 3200 i had fitted.

If you want the parrot to go through the cars front speakers then you'll need a sot cable which are not the best in the world to fit, as they come with the bare essential fitting instructions!

I ran a seperate speaker under the dash for my parrot and took power from the back of the radio, ann when i had it all working together it was great, music paused while you made a call, and the Iphone tomtom came throught the car speakers.

The parrot and grom kit i fitter are the older type to the ones your looking into so dont know if this helps any?

But for your £150 you could buy both these off eBay!

  6. Looking to upgrade from my 3gs to a 4!

    Anybody due a upgrade?

Looking to spend no more than £250 and must be on voda or unlocked!

  7. Do you meen a grom kit for an is200?

If so iv got one i on longer need!

Plugs into the oem headunit and lets you use your ipod/iphone/itouch.

    PM me.

  8. Much cheaper than a re-spray, i'd like to see a photoshop of the finished car before i'd jump in and do it orange, but i like the sound of it with black wheels.

What did they quoat you for a full wrap, and what about removeing it at a later date? Will it marr the paint at all?

  9. Ok for a start the is200 will only read WAV format and nothing else!

So if your music on your pc is MP3 or WMA then that needs to be converted to play on the Is200's stock 6 disc changer, i would use nero, open Nero and select CD/audio cd then new, drag n drop your files into there macking sure you dont go over 70mins, then burn the cd at 4x speed making sure that you have tiked the finalized box!

This works for me just fine.

  10. Take the whole unit out again, remove the 4 screws that hold the top lid in place, go back to car and conect unit back up, try to eject cd's now you can see what stopping them comming out.

I find that once you get error3 the cd holders in the unit have become out of line inside and need to be re-alined again, try to manualy wind the holders back to the bottom of the unit when you get the cd's out.

    Hope this helps.
