Strange coincidence but I've noticed exactly the same thing on my car. But the other more noticeable problem is a lot of knocking from the offside front. It's been in the garage and it is the anti-roll bar drop link that needs replacing.

I think your garage could be right.

Is your suspension knocking at low speed over bumps?

No dont get any knocking from the suspension at all, but i do sometimes get the sound of the gas strut making a pissst sound like air being forced out?

Ok noticed this a week or so ago, when i go round a right handed corner i can hear what sound like the pads rubbing on the discs, took it to a garage for a quick look over and they said link bars or a wheel bearing as theres slight movment in the wheel?

He didnt have time to have a propper look so id thought id ask on here as well.

Did you replace just the bulb or bulb and holder?

Yep they defo lit up before, coz the heated seat switches next to then lit up also.

I noticed the other day that my snow/trc buttons werent lighting up, pulled them out fiddeled with the conection but still nowt!

So what type of bulb do i need?

If its legal or not, they would only be on when you have full beam on, so if the plod were coming towards you , you'd switch your full beam off back to driving lights anyways so they would'nt get chance to see the fogs on?

jomo he only needs one set as he has the is300 with hid's as a standard fit.

Yes and no, you need 2 sets of HIDs one set HB4 and one set HB3, thats high and low beams.

If your thinking of getting both beams HID'd then get the slim slim ballasts as these will be easier to find space for on the passanger side, drivers side has over 12 acers of free space to lose them in :D

Did both lights last year for xmas, imo its a must if you spend time driving down dark country lanes at night.

Had the car back to the painters and spoke to the owner, we came to the agreement that i would give them back the car to finish the job to "MY" standards and that he would lower the price!

He told me that he would call me back in a few hours, this was tuesday morning and im still waiting!!!

Hay ho, well if he dont call me back then iv had a paint job for nothing :D :D

Ok, got the car back today and i'm not happy at all!!

Half the work they said that they'd do has not being done, plus the car was coverd in dust and mop paste.

Got them to wash and leather the car which they got their YTS lad to do who i wouldnt let wash a cup for a dog to drink out of!

Only found this out after id got to work and had 5 free mins to take a look at it, on the plus side the work that they have done is bang on also their C/Card mach was on the fritz so i coulndnt pay, called the shop up to talk to someone but only got a employee and not the boss, who is back in monday, so i going to see him tues and barter on the price due to their sloppy work!

Will keep you informed.......!

how much will it cost? i was thinking about it in a few years time also been thinking about those body kits so would be nice to have the IS200 all dressed up nicely too :D

Its having, Bonnet (stone chips) front & back bumpers (back has being hit so has cracked paint and bent) drivers door has being badly repaired, 3-4 car park dents, drivers wing keyed, both wing mirrors, all scuff makrs and trailing door edges.

£740 all i,n, which i think is a good price.
