  1. Hi chris, i know you dont know me but i'v being following this tread and my heart goes out to you and your dilemma.

It looks like you've put many a long night into makeing your car something you cherish and love and now its in need of help!

Due to me living so far away and having the knowledge of a dead frog when it come to re-building cars i'd be no help to you at all, but i can and will happly send/pay-pal you £100 in your bid to help get your pride and joy back on the road once again.

This is not a wind up at all and my word is my bond for the cash, all you have to do is say yes.

    Martin.

  2. Mr Cadbury and Miss Rowntree met on a Double Decker, it was After Eight.

She was from Quality Street ; he was a Fisherman's Friend.

On the way they stopped at a Yorkie Bar, he had a Rum and Butter and she had a Wine Gum.

He asked her name, 'Polo, I'm the one with the hole' she said.

'I'm the one with the nuts,' he thought!

Then he touched her Milky Way.

They checked in to a hotel, and went straight to the bedroom. Mr Cadbury turned out the light for a bit of Black Magic.

It wasn't long before he slipped his hand into her Snickers and felt her Cream Egg. He fondled her Flap Jacks then he showed her his Curly Wurly and TicTacs.

Miss Rowntree wasn't keen to have any Jelly Babies, so she let him take a trip down Bourneville Boulevard via her Party Ring. He was pleased as he always fancied a bit of Fudge. It was a magic moment as she let out a scream of Turkish Delight.

When he pulled out, his fun size Mars Bar felt a bit Crunchie. She wanted more, but he needed Time Out, however, he noticed her Pink Wafers looked very appetizing. He did a Twirl, had a Picnic in her Sherbet Dip and finished off by giving her a Gob Stopper!

Unfortunately, 3 days later his Magnum lolly started to drip. It turned out Miss Rowntree had been with Bertie Basset who had Allsorts.

  3. I work in sales and get loads of pepole trying to retunr "faulty goods" that they have damaged!

Go in with a good attitude like its a cheap camera and you have 20 more expencive ones at home and this is for taking photos of your cat that you hate!

If you have a more dont really care if i get it fix/replaced attitude the person will pick up on this and think that "no way would you have done this damage to it, and would be trying it on"!

Dont go in demanding anything till your last card had being delt as stomping in asking to see the manager will only get their backs up and they will be straight on their back foot digging in and thats just a lost cause.

    Hope this helps...

PS, on another note if your girlfreind/wife has a low cut top and a good set of lungs, give it her and get her to pick out the most needy guy who works there and get her to take it back!!

That one ALWAYS works on me.........

  4. if you look through all the other clips their is one were a boy is doing a sound demo and a ladies glass eye falls out!!!!!!!!!

name of the clip:20,000watts so intense pops ladies fake eye out!

Defo a red neck! She made it sound like she'd dropped her sunglasses, most ladies would be distraught for that to happen, she just took it in her stride like "whoops i'v spilt my drink"!

  5. I assume it would,

does it come with the needed cable as well?

    Stav

Ad says its new with fitting kit, so would think so..

As long as you don't have satnav, then it should work fine :)

    No sat nav..

    Hi,

It will depend on what year your car is or more specifically what head unit you have fitted. If its an early head unit with the CD slot at the bottom, no. 13902, then it probably won't work.

When my head unit came up with error 3 I bought an external 6 CD changer, a genuine Toyota one, off ebay. But I found that it wouldn't work with my head unit. It would appear that allthough the earlier head unit has the socket on the back to plug an external disc changer or mini disk in it has not been fully implemented. I think this is the same reason why people with this model head unit haven't been able to get the Grom Audio adaptor to work.

If you have the newer model head unit then this should work fine, even if you have the sat nav it should still work but you will need a 'Y' connector to allow you to connect both the sat nav and the new mini disc player.

    I hope this helps.

    Dave.

Stnd head unit with cd slt at top, '99 on a y plate..

You actually use mini discs ?

im going to say the same

Only really use them when i'm roller skateing along Blackpool prom, listening to "Cliff Richards-Wired for sound!"

  6. Yeah they look the bogs bollox, but i'v heard that they leek or something, was lloking at getting them on my Peugeot but i was told/read bad things about them

But that was about 7 years ago so they might have fixed the prob, if there was a prob! Like i said it was a long time ago plus i'm getting old now (40) and the mind starts to play tricks on you...........

  7. Sounds like you've got a cd stuck, have had the sme prob a few times.

To fit this i remove the headunit from the car unscrew both side brackets so the a/c section can be removed, then unscrew the top plate off the headunit so as to gain acsess to the cd's and tray mech.

Plug the headunit back into the car this will reset the cd laser moving it out of the way so you can unjam the trapped cd/s, when you've cleared the cd/s from the trays take out of the car and put it all back together and re-fit back in car.

This should sort your problem, as you will have acsess to the laser eye you could also give it a clean at the same time with a ear bud dipped in meths, just wipe the laser eye, this will help if you smoke a lot in the car!

Hope this helps you with your troubelsome headunit.

P.S this is for the headunit with the cd slot at the top!

  8. Hi guys, looking at a cheap set of stnd is200 wheels on eBay that need a refurb, and i was wondering if any one has had the stnd wheels painted in white to go on a gray/black is200?

If so any chance of a photie or two so i can see if it will work and look as good as i'm hoping....

    Cheers, Jomo.

  9. Funny that, i have a lexus is200 and the misses also drives a Celica, she's only got the 140bhp one in silver as she couldnt find a GT at the time she was looking as she likes the THUNDER GREY colour that you only get on the GT's.

Nice cars to drive, as iv driven hers a few times.

First time i got to drive it she asked me to "give it some beans!" as she wanted to see how fast it was...................who am i to say no to a lady! :driving:
