I have been away on holiday for two weeks and tend to plug a solar charger panel in and lay on dashboard , never had a problem, around £25 if I remember and plugs straight into the OBll socket.

Just a side note to anyone looking at replacing their Battery, I replaced mine last year and phoned my nearest Lexus dealer ,they said £76:00 so paid and got it sent to my local Toyota dealer same dealership  , when I went to pick it up the parts guy said pity you didn't order one for a MR2 roadster as they are the same and only £54:00 ! As I have a MR2 roadster as well I checked and they are the exact part !

When I up date mine I don,t disconnect the Battery I just pull the fuse for the radio/sat nav system a lot easier , still would loose previous stuff mind.

Mine had the inverter recall done at Lexus Ipswich. It was free and they checked some cable connections I believed. If you phone your nearest Lexus dealer and give them your reg number and chassis number they should be able to check on their system to see if it's part of the recall or not and if it had been done. Not all were required to go in . Hope this helps.

I live in Carlton colville near Lowestoft and have been going to roys for over 30 years now ever since I bought a Toyota Camry from them, they have been brilliant and have never let me down, always honest and some times not even charged me !! They look after my Rx, my MR2 my RAV4 , sons fiesta, daughters Mini Cooper s and mother in laws Lexus LS and IQ , tried Lexus Norwich a few years back and had to complain about service I recieved , no brainier for me worth a trip to Norwich.

Found this hope this helps , it is from a few years back but may be worth calling them. Mine booked into Roys next week full service and cambelt.

I had same corrosion problem on roof rails, I removed them and got them grit blasted and powdercoated £40 and then I refitted, job done.  Have you asked Roys motor company in Norwich to see if they can sort your parking sensor fault ? They are very good and far cheaper than Lexus. Lexus Independant dealer and have been for years.

Had ours now 6 years and have only had to replace the small Battery common prob , have looked at changing to newer RX but preferred the older Shape and style, can,t see us parting with ours for a long while yet.

Mine was same when I got it several years ago now so took it to a specialist for laser alignment which cost me £75 but was the best money I spent as has been wearing evenly ever since, he told me he does several Lexus cars as they seem to be slightly out . I put Hankooks on mine at £102 fitted each and they have been brilliant.

Thanks lydiamight I did use a set of them but was still tough on the fingers, good quality clips I suppose !!! Deffo worth changing the bulbs though.

Changed my rear bulbs to the l.e.d ones listed earlier and removed the shields and must say a big improvement thanks for the previous posts great help. Fingers still hurt mind whilst trying to pull body panels off !!!

Go for the se-l , the Rx400h does not have air suspension only the RX300  I have one and its brilliant, all the extra,s including DVD screens. Just look for corrosion on the wheels ( signs of bubbling) and on the underside of the roof rails other wise just get one with full service history you won,t regret it. Wheels will cost you around £50 a wheel to get powdercoated I also had my roof rails done so all sorted.

I have the OBD solar charger as stated and have left mine at the airport for a while always started. No mods required just plug in under dash drivers side and I keep mine in boot under floor , folds out of the way when not required.

Hopefully Lexus will look at this and get it sorted.

Is this issue just with the 350 or is it a problem for the 400h aswell, do I need to inspect mine ?

I have had the Hankooks for past four years and found them excellent for quietness and grip and were £104.00 each when I got mine.

If any help to you mine is a 2006 RX and my old 2009/10 genuine discs have 8627- 0W062 and 86271-60W363A written on the west disc, my latest disc is non genuine not sure on numbers for that as bought 2nd hand.

Bought mine off a chap who never used it but he got it from the above, it seems to work ok at present so perhaps take johns advise as I didn't deal with them directly, I still have my 2009 disc for back up if it stops working etc, but if these companies can do them for that price surely Lexus can reduce there high price for there's

Only thing I've noticed with this one is I can,t change the destination on the move where I could on the 2009 disc but maybe they have changed that command back as my previous 2005-06 disc was the same .

I would try your local graphics company, seletar signs near me have made me one off stickers and graphics in what colour and size I require. If you have no one near you why not drop Steve an email or call him and see what he can do for you, will post out .
