  1. Hi mate, yes they are fast !!! That part fits into the centre consol/glove box/storage compartment thingy, not really sure what you use it for but if you open up the centre storage compartment it fits in towards the front of the car. well the one in mine does.

There is also a parcel shelf which can be lifted out complete once retracted. Are you sure you have not got one as when the boot lifts up it retracts and coils up behind the rear seats and you then pull it out and clip it in when you shut the boot. It can be lock out all the time so will not retract when boot opens if you wish. Also the other side of the shelf clips to the headrest supports just to fill that area in. Fitted as standard i believe.

    Hope this helps

    Phil.

  2. Kirkley Run tyres , based at kirkley run service station.Lowestoft.

01502 565529 postcode NR33 ONH. They were £104.00 each fitted but that was about two years ago as i only do about 4k a year. Camskill online currently have them for £111.50 each but then you will have to get them fitted. clickontyres.co.uk also seem to have them for £111.00 each. Speak to kirkley run and ask what they can do and say they are on line for this price if they are more expensive they may do something to match and you get them fitted.

  3. I'm looking forward to it! Last time mine was recalled I got loaned a new RX450 and when I picked mine up it had been cleaned, filled with fuel and a bottle of champagne waiting for the inconvenience from lexus . All done by lexus ipswich great service.

Spoke to lexus ipswich this morning and was told they are still waiting for parts to come in and to wait for letter from vosa then phone them and arrange date for repair.

  4. Well roof rails removed today, bit tricky getting the plastic covers off but off they did. Have taken them to the powdercoaters and will be ready to pick up next week £40.00 . Will make them look better and be better protected. Thought about leaving them off but are handy sometimes when needed so will be refitting. Thanks for everyone's help on how to remove.

  5. Hi mate, there's not much to look for really, alloys are a problem so good that they are doing them, second, I would check the roof rails underneath the curve bit where it fits to roof as these corrode too, now getting mine powdercoated so check them and if corroded ask for them to be done. I got a rubber rear boot liner and rear bumper protector thrown in when I bought mine as well. Oh on the alloys check that they have done the spare as well as that sits underneath the rear and will probably be the worst one.

  6. Thanks have just tried that and still same problem, have replaced the Battery in the remote , also both headsets and still sound very faint, have also put a disc cleaner through the player but still same, all LED's are lit and by covering one side up it just reduces sound even more. Have looked through hand book asociated with I.C.E but can't find all the set up pages they list in there on the screens. Don't know what else to try now, they always worked well and when my son connects his play station to the yellow, white, red connectors it always worked.

  7. I have a sound problem with my tv screens in the headrests, I cannot seem to get the sound to work and have tried everything this morning but still no joy, they always worked fine but haven't been used for a while until we went down to airport last week and kids complained they didn't have any sound. Batteries in headphones are good and remote works, you can faintly here the sound from a DVD but that's it, with volume up on headphones and max on TV screens, any ideas please ?
