Have you had a look at THIS ONE mate. Anno it's a bit pricer than you mentioned but as someone said before, it's a buyers market and you just never know how a cheeky offer will go down if you don't ask ;)
-
Thanks Allan, considering this one or the TRD one, really prefer the TRD one as i have the TRD front spoiler and also TRD costs £175 from Lexus/Toyota

Welcome to LOC mate.
-
Thats a really nice looking motor mate. Sports grille makes a HUGE difference :winky:
-
This maybe a silly question but does the rear valance fit over youyr existing valance or does that have to come off ?
-
Thanks for the info Nick. I dont even know if i have spring clips in mines as iv'e just taken the wheels off. Not too confident about taking off the calipers :duh: , I'll pluck up the courage on my next day off and see what it looks like.
Thanks again mate.

This clunking when turning slow and braking has retured to mines. It dissapeared after getting new pads about 4000 miles ago.
I took my wheels off today and checked the shims. Should you be able to slide the shims up and down slightly with a screwdriver ? or should they be soild onto your brakepad.
If solid i think i may try to put some copper slip on the shims.Would this help ?

Dont think Aero's come in 17" mate, i may be wrong :shutit:

Hello mate and welcome to LOC. It's all about personal tastes but if it's defo out of those 6 i'd go for both the 18" Momo #3 + #6.
You'd probably be looking to put 245/40/18s on. If you look at my pictures you'll see the Lexus Aero 18s running on the above tyres. Look at THIS to give you a better idea.
Just trying to showw off my car
Hope this helps

18" Aero's for me :D

As above, we LOVE pic's, Welcome mate.

Car looks great mate. You need to reposition your horns.
Where did you get the full leather interior from ?
-
Thats a great bit of info Felix. Looks very good mate.
If i didn't have the OEM one, i'd have snapped one of these up.

Tommy - brakeparts direct - 01706 666999 or 01204 385888 - they do the fitting kits for the front but not the back - i was quoted £17 from local ebc motor factor shop locally for fronts - rears appear to be main dealer only
Thanks for the info Nick, much appreciated :winky:

yep..you'll need the anti rattle plates to hold the pads tighter...plenty of grease on the pads too when ur puttin them in :)
Thanks Turk ;)
-
Is it more of a shudder or a rattle ?
-
I got my both ball joints replaced two weeks ago and also had the geometry re-done.
It's defo the pads moving in the caliper as before, but not sure if i need anti-squeal springs or anti-squeal shims ?
-
Iv'e got that dreaded cluncking noise when turning slowly and braking.
I had this about a year ago and got my pads changed fixing the noise.
Iv'e only done about 4 thousand miles since new pads so i know they dont need changing.
The question is, whats needed to stop the pads moving in the caliper ?
Is it anti-squeal springs or anti-squeal shims that stops the movement ? :duh:
-
WOW...looks spot on....is that one normal springs or has it been lowered a touch?
Love the car pal
It's lowered on 40mm springs mate. These ones The ride is not too harsh. Not far from the standard ride.

nice motor tommy what did you use on it tcut then polish or some other method i am thinking i should have waited and bought a blue model this grante grey metalic is a pig to keep nice ok good luck with the seagulls
I washed with Turtle Wax Zip shampoo, polished with Autoglym Super Resign Polish, then waxed with Autoglym High Definition Wax.
-
The only downside is, iv'e been charged by the coppers for shooting every seagull in the area. Can't be too carefull :P
-
